Wornag (Kronnor)

*Kronnor thanks the troll for the offer, but decides to eat on of his rations before going back to the Voodoo master trying to see if he managed to see what caused the explosion.*

Regorn

Walking out after munching on your rations, you seek out the Voodoo Adepts hut.
Some troll guard is outside the hut speaking to him, the Troll is making big gestures with his hands and arms while pointing at various things.

"...and den da potion exploded!  be dere be someone out ta kill me!"
"Sure is mon, just half the town afta' dey smelled ya hut."

Wornag (Kronnor)

*Kronnor waits until the troll finishes talking with the guards, then goes to him.*
"And why would someone try to kill you?"

Regorn

The Voodoo adept points at Kronnor

"You! It's you who brought dis misfortune on poor Za'jil. Dat accursed amulet ya wear and swagger around.
Da name of Karakin is not one of blessings."

Wornag (Kronnor)

"Or maybe you just crossed someone and now that person wants you dead."

Regorn

"Ma masta went away when he heard of Karakin, and now ya bring dat name and idols of Karakin to my hut, stay away from da voodoo mon."

The Voodoo adept goes in to his hut.

Wornag (Kronnor)

*Kronnor looks around for troll guards, maybe they can tell more about this Karakin.*

Regorn

The first 3 guards you ask simply scratch their heads and shrugs.
The fourth however says he heard something from a priest about that, something about a loa? He himself does not know anything more than that.

Wornag (Kronnor)

*Kronnor tries to find the priest, as he's now more intrigued about all this Karakin stuff.*

Regorn

After asking the fourth guard, he points you to a small Loa shrine outside the town.
It's a shrine for Shango, Loa of Storms.

There you find a priest some other trolls dropping off offerings.

"What ya want mon? ya orcs neva do anyting with da Loa."

Wornag (Kronnor)

"I found these two amulets, from what someone told me the word to activate them is Karakin. And a troll told me Karakin is a Loa."
*Kronnor shows the amulets to the priest.*

((The amulets aren't combined yet, right? Cause I need someone to do that for me?))

Regorn

((correct, the amulet is still "2", you can try to do it yourself.))

"Karakin is not a good name for anyone to utter mon.
He be a bad Loa, eternal tiger hunter he be, hunting everyone and everyting.

He ate another Loa, da spider Taril, stole it's healing powa. Serving Karakin is not a good thing mon, ya better leave it well enough alone orc."

Wornag (Kronnor)

"I'm not serving anyone. I just want to know more about it. In case I face more of his followers."

Regorn

"I hav not heard of anyone serving Karakin in my life mon.
But if ya really want to know, promise me ya won't accept him as ya protector.

Karakin is a wild Loa, he stalks da jungle for prey, other Loa.
First he consumed Taril, feasted on his powa. But it was not enough for him, so he hunted greater Loa's.
He faced Hakkar, The Soulflayer. Hakkar bound him first in blood, forcing him to da mortal realm, then he made him rock and shattered him.

Some say Karakin's spirit still haunt da jungles, longing for a body.
But da place where he be shattered lies under da sea mon, it was before da great Troll war. No one knows where he be resting. Good riddance mon.

Anyting else ya want to hear mon?"

Wornag (Kronnor)

"Hmm, it is an interesting legend. Maybe knowing more would help me against the trolls that serve him. Like the ones of warlord Ju'zil."
