Rule set for the tournament of 19-05-2015:
And another tribe tournament coming up, another set of rules! :D The usual though. On the day of the tournament I shall also post the brackets here so you can all keep track of them as well.

Rules tournament:

- Arena rules ( No usage of flasks or engineering items either, no legendary rings etc)
- No Blood Lust or Timewarp
- stealth only allowed up to 60 seconds.
- No tank or healing spec. (Nor tank presences such as blood presence or def stance for warriors, no gladiator spec)
- One bandage per player.
- No outsider buffs.
- talents and Glyphs aren't to be changed during the tournament. The Glyph and talent set you have locked in during your first battle will be locked in for the entire tournament.

And most important of all, have fun guys!

Rashka

Not to be whiny here, but prot stance is pretty much the only defensive warriors have. Just wanted to note that.

Sakinra/Akanra

Spell reflect and Die by the sword can both be used outside of Def Stance
We're going to have a Grown up Party! It's just like a kids party, but with more crying....

Okram

Some other abilities can't however, and some other abilities automatically swap you to prot. Stancedancing is part of warrior PvP. To me it's the same as saying a resto druid can't go bear form and stun someone with bash or whatever :P

The issue being if we allow it for warriors, those DK's will want their presence as well, or go complain about that again. xD I can't always please everyone! I won't really mind if a warrior swaps to the stance for like a second or so for an ability, but it's more the case of them not standing in it the entire fight. So don't worry about that ability or two. :)

I'm afraid I have to agree with the others, While DK can only benefit from Blood presence in terms of hp/armour, Warriors lose something being in defensive... namely damage output, and have to use it for Defensive Cd's.

Simply put, Warriors need Defensive stance, DK's don't need blood presence.

Srelok

It's also been in the tournament rules for the last bunch of tournaments. And we don't plan on changing them.

Hence I said, I won't bat an eye at warriors switching stance for a skill or so, as long as they don't keep standing in it the entire fight. xD So no need to keep the discussion going!

Hnngh. I didn't mean to start a discussion ;_;

Wornag (Kronnor)

To be honest, even if I would take part on my DK, I would not mind warriors being allowed to use def stance since DKs have way more healing and damage mitigation spells than a warrior. I've played mostly only warrior lately and without def stance+shield barrier they do not stand a change.
Blame Blizzard for not giving warriors enough love in 1v1 PvP.  :)
