That is the pain of computer users, just like limited games is the pain of console users.

Emotions are stuff that come from the chemical processes, hormones and alike.

No amount of ram would be able to do it. Though...I suppose with right programs you could simulate them.

If we figured out how to transfer synapses to binary numbers, we can figure out a few chemical stuff.

probably take a few terabyte of memory to store all info tho, but if we can do mind transfer memory would probably not be  big issue at this point.

Size of memory for a computer is not an issue, we can already make computers with bigger capacity than human brains.

But emotions, wishes, wants and alike are not just synapse activity, that activity is dictated by the function of your body. You have your subconscious, instincts born out of unthinking actions. Desires woken by how your body functions.

That will be a hard nut to crack, very possibly not possible with just programs, might need the synthetic body to have some equivalents of biological functions.

I suggest reading the book: Do Androids dream of electric sheep? by Philip k Dick. Amazing read all about emotions and what they're with androids and what it is to be alive. You know all that good sci fi stuff. It formed the basis for the film Blade Runner.

Another good for human nature is Isaac Asimov's books.

Breaking news: bacon is a cancer-causing carcinogenic substance on par with asbestos, arsenic and tobacco. Welp, it's been a good run.

Regorn

call me unsurprised.

EVERYTHING cause cancer.

Don't eat bacon every single day nob-heads.

Living causes cancer as life is dependent on cancer.

Its only degrees of how much what increases the chance.

But basically anything roasted or fried has higher chance of causing cancer. Just like cigarettes, or certain chemicals.

Also WHO's announcement I take with a grain of sand. Why? I would remember they still regard transgender people as suffering from a sickness.

Reminds me of this song from a comedy stand up show.

Fun fact, I know as i type this very second thanks to that lovely WHO announcement every hypochondriac in a 20 km radius, is clogging up my accident and emergency room of my hospital, with the excuse of: 'I ate bacon and sausages for breakfast yesterday and now i have slight ache in my stomach, i have cancer, its your job to help me, i will sue you.'

I love that i am not working right now ;D

Umaua

.....I don't think that'd work here atleast.

I mean...you can have your head under your arm and the doctors would still deem you fit to work.

Of course everyone can spot them but we still have to put them though the system of triage, forms to filled etc etc. accessing that they're a hypochondriac. rule and regs have to followed in case that  it might might be geniue and have something wrong. Then they go back to the waiting room and proceed to be ignored till they go away.

Still everytime a big annoucement like this happens, swine flu, ebola, cancer scares etc its a siren song to them XD

I'm so happy that I currently got a borrowed sewing machine. Finally I can sew stuff!

I'd believe it to be fair, but quite a lot of things are carcinogens so meh. Their stance on transgender people isn't exactly wrong either, so I don't know why that would be a reason not to trust them.
