My favorit cookies are knäckkakor, don't know their name in English.

They are crunchy.

I don't think so. Knäckebröd is more food and less cookie. This is probably knäck is a kind of candy.  Can't for the life of me remember the English word for it.  But it's made with cream syrup and sugar

Indeed it is, Knäckebröd is simply bread made to last a god-damn long time (by being completely hard, no soft parts easy to mold).

Knäckkakor is simply a cookie, a crunchy one too (maybe that is why they are both named "knäck")

We call it näkkileipä. And I agree its good.

That just translates to knæk kager.

Yes well..I bet its a borrowed word fro Swedish. Since we were just part of Sweden for a loooong time.

No I mean the Swedish word translates to that in Danish, what is that kinda cake even?
