Okay, me confused... Here's the one you've got up Koz.

http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php/topic,2438.0.html

But when I was deciding to do Orc RP... I found this one on WoW Insider..

http://wow.joystiq.com/2011/05/15/all-the-worlds-a-stage-orcs-and-timelines-in-roleplay/#continued

So my question is...which one do I use ??? The one on the forum here would make my guy in his twenties, whereas the one from WoW Insider makes my guy in his forties...

It's thrown my head into confusion  :'(

Anyone else with this problem? Or have I just now created a problem?

As stated in the timeline on this website, Blizzard's timelines have always very much differed from one another. With the one made on these forums, I have tried to find a logical consensus between all of them that wouldn't rape too many lore elements (like Grom Hellscream or Drek'thar not ending up too ridiculously old for their age, even though Drek'thar still is). The source the author of the website you linked went by, is the Warcraft RPG book. A lot of these were released before WoW was, and the timelines of them are usually pretty off (not to mention Blizzard has made it a practise to try and ret-con a lot of things in it).

In the end, it's up to you which one you decide to adhere. Personally, I don't think it's that necessary being overly punctual in terms of an orc's age, because the orc itself would probably not really care all that much for numbers. You could always just make a rough estimate, if anything.

As Koz said, with WoW (and novels that Bliz counts as "fact") in the picture the RPG books timeline doesn't make sense.
If you read in the comment section some one points out that Durotan would have been north of 100 years when he and his wife got Thrall. They are in Rise of the Horde children before the curroption of Ner'zhul starts and Thrall is born on Azeroth. And that's orcs who did not partake in the drinking of Demon blood and get the extended lifespan it's been claimed to give.
Muzjhath got Iced by Sadok, after Marogg got Stabbed.

I actually didn't think as far as Durotan himself, even. Good point. But yeah, a lot of characters like Grom and the like (and even Drek'thar as he currently is) would have been grandpas while they're still in the prime of their life in some of these timelines. I'm not saying mine is the best either, but I tried to find a compromise between it all.
