I have decided myself to stick to Burlok - I have already set up the guild Ive been planning for 2 odd years (the Big Bad Boyz) and truth is that RvR is much more focused in Core servers than in open servers.

Anyhow my name is -naturally- Kad, and I am the leader of the Big Bad Boyz. Anyone who is interested in joining this Orc & Goblin only guild, feel free to pm either me or any of the members of the guild.

I might try rolling on Alerielle as well - Im getting a bit pissed off with all the unflagged stunties and also by the fact that there is noone in the RvR areas

Does WAR also require hour upon hour of grind to be able to enjoy the game?

Im only at level 6 at the momment, but it seems that - although it does require time - it wont require vast continuous time spans. it is viable to play for 30 minutes or 1 hour and enjoy the game and also feel like you have accomplished something

As some of you might know, I have moved to warhammer which has just opened its headstart program tonight. The game launches on the 18th.

Me and some friends have rolled in a Core RP server , Burlok. If anyone wants to drop by try messaging me either me (Kad) or Madana. I will be delighted to fight side by side with you again

I will reply to this question with another question. What does a level represent?

I have always seen level based systems as flawed right from the start. The leveling system is a rough representation of power that - when challenged with proper Role Playing - is bound to create unrealistic situations and paradoxes.

So my answer to the initial question is that ANY game that chooses the leveling system as its core advancement system is bound to have a level limit for such things as riding horses, going through a specific door, wielding a specific dagger and/or drinking beer...

The best system I have seen in a computer RPG is the elder scrolls series - however I can see how this could become silly in an MMO what with all the repetition and all. I feel that until there is a system that offers PROPER game mastering (As in pen and paper RPGs) we will not see a solution to this problem.

Hi everyone, so nice to see (read?) you all again  . I just dropped by to say hi when I saw this thread.
Just letting you know that I and a friend of mine are still planning of making an orc & goblin only WAR guild on a RP server. We will probably also make an order guild but that will be a secondary project.

Anyhow Im glad there is interest for WAR going on in our guild as I would love to play with you guys again  .
