On the topic of Jon Snow, I am overly fond of the theory that Jon Snow is not Azhor Ahai reborn, he is lightbringer, Rhegar was Azhor Ahai.

Interesting... what do you base this fan-thereom upon?

I suppose there is spoilers for Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Throne beyond this point.

It was not me who came up with the theory, for full on video on it, go here https://youtu.be/UrhqmMRv1gQ

But in short:
Rhaegar first believed he was Azor Ahai, so he trained himself to become a warrior.
Azor Ahai's first sword broke when it was tempered with water, Rhaegar died in the water's of the River land.

Rhaegar then came to believe it was his son (Aegon) who was Azor Ahai.
Azor Ahai's second sword broke when it was tempered with the blood of a lion, Aegon (together with his mother and sister) died at the hands of the mountain, commanded by Tywin, a lion.

Then Rhaegar finally believed Azor Ahai would be born by him still, but not by his Martell wife.
Azor Ahai final sword, Lightbringer, only came to be when it was used to kill Azor Ahai's wife.
Jon Snow's birth also happen to have killed his mother.

So Jon Snow is Lightbringer, the one who will bring the dawn, forged by Azor Ahai reborn, Rhaegar Targaryen after he failed to create Lightbringer in himself and his first son.

There is also the theory that Varys is a Blackfyre Targaren, hence why he is bald, he shaves his head to cover up his white targaren hair.

He tried to help the 2 Targaren siblings to conquer Westeros! Using a Dothraki army that loves to destroy and burn stuff down, portray him as a bloodthirsty conquerer.

Then in comes his personal pet project, a 'fake' Targaren (a Blackfyre) with a mercenary company (A mercenary company famous for helping the Blackfyre), he look much better in comparison and then... A Blackfyre on the throne instead of a Targaren.

Also why Danerys was told she need to defeat a fake dragon to take the throne.

I kind of guessed about R + L = J. Even before the big internet hype. But thus stuff? I didn't consider it, it really could work!

Therein is the rub, of course, they make sense. But not all can be true.

the theory of patches having done (unintentionally) the Iron-Born drowning ritual and become a pawn of some kind of lovecraftian deep ones is totally true tho.
