yea, whenever I look up recipies in /r/giftrecipies they are mostly in 4 groups.
45% are deep fried stuff (I don't want that, I don't want to use a liter of oil at cooking a simple meal)
45% is 90% cheese, just loads of cheese, that I don't like.
5% contain eggs, that I can't eat. 
And the remaining 5% are something I can actually cook.

Have you considered... you know, joining the cows in the fields, joining in and starting to graze?
