I would love to have Vrykul as playable race.

Yet the Vrykul have more lore and make more sense than void elves...

The Vrykul could be like the Pandaren, going each faction, since they love war. And they wouldn't mind if they have to fight against their own, as long as it's a glorious battle.

That does kinda makes me wonder, how many races is there on Azeroth? (including immigrant races, like Draeni, Orc and Ogres)

Basically, all sentient species.
Furbogs for example would be included, they are clearly a people, but not very intelligent nor technological driven.

This is where we put things like "Troll", there are many types of trolls, but they are all Trolls.
Subraces
Here is where you put the different types of trolls.

Major SubRace
Here you put Elves for example, as they are technically a subrace of Trolls.
Sub-SubRace 
Different types of Elves

So, now we start....

Zandalari, Jungle, Ice, Island, Dark, Sand, Blood

Elves
Night, High/Blood, Void, Nightborn, Felblood, Darkfallen

Tauren, Taunka
