"Names does not matter, only who you are" - An old Friend from past, Thar'grash Thunderfury

Wornag (Kronnor)

Warcraft creation table? That would be awesome.

Regorn

First thing to create is the things one could roll for, for first 2 I suggest

Type of Orc faction
Clan, Warband, Mercenaries, Horde Faction (think Kor'kron elite) example

Origin
This is include time, because you can't have a 10 year old faction that was created on Draenor

Wornag (Kronnor)

You're the one that knows all these creation table stuff, so gl with that Regorn. :D

well, here is the work so far...

Type (d10)
1-2: Clan
3-4: Warband (this would be "Orcs of the Red Blade" type)
5-6: Cult
7-8: Mercenaries
9-10: Horde Faction

Origin (d10)
1-2: Draenor (Pre-horde)
3: Draenei War
4: First War
5: Second War
6: Third War
7-8: Post-Third War
9-10: Nothrend Invasion

Group Values (d10) (roll once or twice)
1-2: Honor
3-4: Strength and Skill
5-6: The Old ways
7-8: Pro-Horde
9-10: Wisdom and Knowledge

Group Faith (d10) (Reroll if cult and get 6-9)
1-3: Shamanistic
4-5: Ancestral
6-7: Individual Faith
8-9: None
10: Fel

Currently thinking on: Battle tactics, Horde Loyalty, Size, Weapons, Resources

Lars

I'd personally say that the Origin table is way off the statistical likely hood of the top 3 alternatives for modern warcraft.
Muzjhath got Iced by Sadok, after Marogg got Stabbed.

-The orc formerly known as Muzjhath formerly known as Marogg

Regorn

would this be better?

1: Draenor (Pre-horde)
2: Draenei War
3: First War
4: Second War
5: Third War
6: Post-Third War
7: Dark Portal opening
8: Nothrend Invasion
9: The Cataclysm
10: Second Dark Portal Opening (old Draenor)

On an unrelated note. It's official. Orcs have Titanforged heritage.

Grogok

They do? Where were that mentioned

Spoiler: show
Chronicles Volume 2. Essentially, Aggramar came to Draenor in it's primal state and created an elemental giant called Grond to battle the Evergrowth and start the Titan process to cultivate the planet. As Grond battled, and eventually fell, chunks of his being started to rise called Colossals. Aggramar rallied them to finish what Grond could not and from their corpses rose Magnaron, Gronn and over time Ogron, Ogre and eventually Orc. They became fleshy over time as opposed to rock due to the spores from the Primals/Evergrowth.

Grogok

so orcs basically exist due to repeated failures xD

Gashuk

Spoiler: show
Not so much failures. The Evergrowth has a similar pattern of de-evolution. Essentially the Sporemounds and Grond hit each other SO hard that the blood and flesh that splattered on the floor created new species, and the process repeated itself a few times until you get normal humanoid Orcs.

Grogok

That is quite interesting actually.

The Chronicle books are always worth a read!
