Just finished watching the new X Men movie there. It's awful.

It really is. The first hour and a bit is exposition of about 12 characters that is horribly smashed together. One moment you're in Egypt, then in New York, then Egypt, then East Berlin, all in about an 8 minute time frame. Quicksilver lets a guy die then is laughing in his brother's face like 3 minutes later, and no one bats an eyelid because he's "quirky". One scene with him is just him walking up to the School while Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics blares, cut to some CGI sequence that was made for 3D.

The final fight lasts about 40 minutes, but was so terrible that halfway through I was on my phone. Sophie Turner, who's usually a good actress in Game of Thrones, was terrible in this movie. But probably the worst thing of all that happened was

Magneto begins demolishing cities around the world through breaking the metals out of buildings/bridges and killing potentially hundreds of thousands of people. In the end he turns good and him and Xavier have a chat before he leaves with a "goodbye old friend" sentimental talk. The dude has killed a shitload of innocent people and gets away scot-free.
