Roleplaying Experience
I have been roleplaying on the Argent Dawn server since mid-Cataclysm and have continuously mained different things such as a human swashbuckler, a Forsaken apothecary and Ul'guruk himself, an AU orc.

Ul'guruk was made at the prepatch of WoD as an Iron Horde character, and has seen much development since that point.

Short Story
Hraggoth Felrage chuckled loudly in response at the joke his mate Ranah Waveheart made as they strolled past the beaches of Durotar. A walk at the end of the week, after training at the barracks in Orgrimmar every day, felt right this evening and helped him relax. He watched as Ranah's ebon hair danced in the wind which had seemingly picked up slightly.

After walking a short distance they spotted the source of the gust, a shaman like Ranah communing with the spirits of air on top of a small hill. Ranah smiled at the effort and gave Hraggoth's shoulder a pat "Come, my love, let us leave him to his duties." she spoke, yet the warrior was distracted. He squinted his eyes and spotted something he did not enjoy seeing: Mag'har skin and Burning Blade tailored robes.

Hraggoth had spent his time on Draenor fighting the Iron Horde and has seen many atrocities he did not believe his kind would be able to commit. His comrades tortured by Shattered Hand maniacs, entire squadrons destroyed by volatile siege weaponry and even then the intrusion of vile demons at the end of the war, yet to see his evening interrupted by some evil scum that found its way to the country of his people? Never. He marched up towards the shaman communing with the elements, much to his mate's dismay, and braved the winds becoming harsher and harsher as he drew closer.

Once he had reached the top of the hill he grabbed the mag'har orc's shoulder, interrupting his communion and spinning him around, repulsed by his appearance. His face had several burn marks, making him appear much older than he actually was, and his left hand was naught but a stump. The odd smell alluded to the shaman's lack of either a bath or funds, yet his surprised tone particularly infuriated Hraggoth "Greetings, brother. Can I help?"

The warrior wasted no time in pushing the orc's chest, sending him stumbling backwards and nearly off the hill "Yes, Iron Horde filth. You can tell me what scum like you thinks he's doing in these lands. Come to kill more innocents? Burn more honourable soldiers? Speak!" he snarled, spittle dripping from his tusks. Ul'guruk pressed his stump against his right palm and lowered his head in humility "I understand your anger, my friend, but I am not the horror that committed atrocities upon your people. I have aided the Horde and I only live currently to keep the elements in balance, keep the Burning Legion at bay and serve the Horde."

Particularly the last three words ticked off Hraggoth, causing him to once more push the shaman and this time see him fall down the hill into the sand below "I will not see poison like you in my Horde, scum. If I see or hear about you trying to sabotage the cause of my kinsmen I will slice your head off and feed it to my cousin's pigs." the warrior threatened, running a finger across his throat before striding down the hill. Ul'guruk slowed his breathing down and sighed as he laid in the sand. This was not the first time this had happened and it would not be the last. He looked around for anything that he may have dropped on the way down, noticing the black linnen band he usually wore around his left wrist. He picked it up and tried to wrap it back where it belong, yet such proved difficult with naught but one hand.

Just as he meant to give up out of frustration and simply stuff it away until he got home two smaller, green hands reached down to take a hold of each end of the cloth, swiftly wrapping it around his wrist and putting a double knot in it. The surprised shaman looked up to see a face smiling at him apologetically; Ranah, the angered orc's mate "I apologise for his behaviour. He means well but has returned from Draenor with scars in his heart. They will heal in time, and do not worry... I can sense that you are sincere in your words. The spirits confirm your statements. Please do not let his words discourage you." she spoke, helping Ul'guruk up on his feet before Hraggoth called out to her "I apologise, I must go now... Elements be with you, brother. Aka'magosh." she spoke before darting off, Ul'guruk waving at her as he smiled warmly "And may they be with you and your mate, sister." he whispered, squinting his eyes as old memories returned to him of unexpected kindness from those that came before her. He returned up the hill, gracefully bowing before the spirits of air and the moon as a way of stating his departure to them, returning to his hovel to prepare for whatever the next day may bring.

Hello Ul'guruk!

Welcome to our forums! :D I must say, I enjoyed reading your story. You seem to realise some indeed don't agree with the Iron Horde being in the Horde now ICly, and that's good! It's an edge to the rp that some love to have, but others find it hard to handle. (Same a bit with DK's and warlocks being disliked by many orcs still.)
I see no issues with your application, so I'm happy to tell you that it's approved!
The next step is a short IC interview to get to know your character ICly and bit and have him introduced to the tribe.
Simply poke any of these names ingame on this list here: http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0  to arrange the interview. We're currently in Grizzly Hills ICly, camp One'qwah (if I spelled that right...). Feel free to come by for some RP even if you don't manage to grab a senior member or officer for the interview if there is some going on!

Hope to see you soon ingame!
