Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:

Relatively new to RP in World of Warcraft. Having lost interests in playing the game during TBC (I was a bit younger then, and most likely didn't understand exactly what I was doing) I found myself picking the game up not long ago. Not one for immaturity in the toxic sense, hell an immature laugh can be good sometimes, I found myself drawn to the RP servers. I found the crowd to be somewhat more mature and friendlier and started enjoying the game again. I found that my love for the lore of Warcraft pushed my basis for getting into role-play, starting with a little Forsaken rogue I took my first steps to seeking out a guild, sadly this guild wouldn't last due to lack of interest on a low-pop server, we carried on in a new guild with some great events, and a bit of a story between the two characters that left the previous guild which I was leading. Orcs have however always been one of my favourite races, partly due to the difference we see in Warcraft were, although they can be savage, we see a different more intelligent race brought me back to starting an Orc character and this leads me to today and this application.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:

- Not Long After the Events of the Third War -

A thick smoke fills the air, arising from a small dilapidated hut, not an easy place to reach but hidden from view deep within Felwood. The herbs boiling in the pot, to be used as various inks, let out a sweet but sickly stench. A hunched figure waves a hand, disturbing the otherwise calm rise of smoke.

“Fools, the lot of them.” A deep voice mutters to itself, “They cast a judging eye at those who chose a different path. A perilous path indeed, but the knowledge, the power… They judge simply because they do not understand. They are afraid….” The voice trails off, quietly muttering as the figure focuses intently on forbidden scriptures laid out in front it.

- 14 Years Later -

Vorhg’ad returning to the site of the hut, time had not been kind to the hut that many years earlier had been his small isolated haven. Reaching down pulling the overgrowth away to reveal many dried pots of various inks and pigments.

“Such arrogance I had then, to think they were fools. Perhaps they were wise, more so than I thought. In truth though, they will never understand.” Vorgh’gad lost in thought as he shuffles through remnants of scriptures written years previous.

Vorhg’ad’s eyes widen, in seeing the small tome, undamaged and undisturbed in front of him. “This knowledge, I thought I had lost… hmm, yes. Yes this will do. It is perhaps time, that my self imposed exile to come to an end, it seems the Orgrimmar will be my next visit”

Vorhg’ad Felltooth, his motives are a bit of an enigma. A younger Vorh’gad would find himself etching a living in the depths of Felwood on self-imposed exile, sick of those who would harass, judge and try to persecute him for choosing to use Fel magics. While brash, and hot-headed at this age, as time past Vorhg’ad’s temper cooled and he became more calculating. He somewhat understood the nature of his people’s disdain, yet some part of himself would always view them as beneath him - on the basis they refuse to understand because they are weak-willed and afraid.

As time would pass Vorhg’ad, while in exile left his dwellings within Felwood to travel for some time, making appearances here and there across Kalimdor, but never venturing close to Durotar. Seeking knowledge, and perhaps the reward that would come with it more power.

It wasn’t until a number of years later, not long after the Siege of Orgrimmar would he find himself where his exile began, the abandoned hut deep within Felwood. It was here he decided that his exile would come to an end and he would return to Orgrimmar.

He spent some time in Orgrimmar, mostly within the Cleft of Shadows amongst others of his chosen path studying and researching. It was during this time he heard of the Orcs of the Red Blade in passing, and began his search to find them.
