Rakta

Name: Rakta Sha'kren
Class: Shaman
Level: Currently 11 (will change in the future)

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience: I am a D&D player for almost 10 years. First online RP experiance is from SW The Old Republic, where i was for 2 years. Currently RPing in WoW for almost a year.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
A young Orc released to the world. She grew up without parents, in orphanage. Nothing really specific happen during her childhood. Nowadays she seek purpose in a world, looking to became shaman one day. Raktas nature is calm, she listens to anything someon has to say. She doesn't rush to anything. Also she has a very little combat experience, in that way she will also need a guiding hand.

Hey Rakta!

I've given your application a look, and while it's a little short, you've covered most of the important basics. Some small things I'd still like to know though!
You say Rakta grew up in an Orphanage. The Ogrimmar Orphanage has only been there for about 15 years now, so unless Rakta is really young, you might want to take another look at that. Or was it a different Orphanage?
Some other things you might want to think about. Rakta is a shaman but you say she doesn't have any experience with that. What did she do then, growing up? Some major events like the expansions you can add in as well if you want. Does she have any other qualities or trainings? This is mainly for yourself to create some depth in your character which might really help you with your RP later, especially since these things are going to be asked in the upcoming IC interview once this application is accepted.
What I'd also like to know is why Rakta would want to join the Red Blades specifically, did she hear of them, why join this tribe? (especially seeing we're now in Tanaan.)
If you'd take another short look at those things and add a little bit, let me know here when you've done so and I'll take another look! :D This is a very good start however!

Rakta

*Reworked introduction.
Rakta was already born on Azeroth. Her parents died during the liberation of enslavement camps and Rakta was saved by orc unit that later on join the Horde, lucky for her, this Horde was heading to Kalindor. Rakta was mainly with civilians and after the orphanage was build, she was left in there. During following years she learn about Orc history. She also learned the basics of cooking. Rakta stayed in orphanage till her twenty, helping with the other orphans who came there. Now she is curious about the world and also to became shaman. That one day Rakta heard about the clan of Red Blade, so she wishes to find those people, who seens the world and maybe to learn a great deal from their experiences.

Rhonya

Hey again Rakta!

Some good additions you made there, tells us a little bit more already about the idea behind your character.
For you counts the same as for your friend, I spoke to him a little too about arranging an interview. Feel free to poke any names on the list here: http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0 ingame if they're online to arrange a little IC talk! Seeing you're so low level and we're in Tanaan for coming time still, you can either wait until you're high enough level or you may ask to do the interview elsewhere while pretending it's Tanaan. (We can all imagine things well enough.) However this means you won't be really capable of joining any events soon yet.
I hope to see you soon ingame, at least! :D
