On the level of "attraction" I prefer the female form pretty much exclusively. Doesn't mean I can find and admire things I am far to lazy to attain =D

And some breakthroughs are amazing!
Also, the pacing that general media reports on science is really slow even on big things. There have been huge news the past few years I've known about 60 months (or more) prior to big news reporting about them.

This just proves how wrong they were and how right you were. About the state of Defias et al.

Mneh, I'd been on Defias since launch day, so it may seem a little over the top but I always felt very much in tune with the health and population of the server. I'd seen it eb, flow, rise and dip and as a result just knew out of instinct it was never going to be salvaged, and that the time to jump ship was near/close.

So I poked the officers a bit. The real credit goes to Sadok though, who put a concerted amount of effort into that poll that gauged everyone's feelings, and the officer teams efforts/planning that came after. It also took a lot of courage on their part to make the leap, and weather the varying shades of criticism.

I'm just the douche who sensed the winds had changed.

Krogs, I sensed that the winds were changing on DB back when I was still playing on Muzjhath. The DB community had never been large, but it had gotten quite a bit smaller over Cata. Even with some influx by migration to DB bringing it up a bit again. But it was a declining polynomial curve. So while going down having smaller rises is natural.

Not like this was the first more to AD suggestion either. Just the one at the right time. Which was my point above.
