While I'm not sure of my status on these forums anymore, I felt compelled to throw in my 2 cents as Grek mentioned something I said...

...A thought just occured to me... *looks at Krogon* You bastard, you predicted this without meaning to predict it. When you were giving that lesson on Fel to Umaua and Shasrosan whilst Gashuk and Rhonya were doing their Ritual stuff, and we had that talk about dealing with the Legion, invasions of Azeroth...

'Legion' is not Blizzard being inventive, but infact going back to tried and tested concepts, then expanding upon them.

This is not a rip off of 'TBC', nope, its WoTLK. Everything about this screams Wrath, From the race of moose tauren, to the mighty enemy citadel, to the epic pre-expansion battle, Vrykul, valkyr, new class. We are seeing Dalaran used as a capital again, and Archerus is showing up... Which is the basis for the class halls, DK's already have this! just without the added stuff. Theres even the heavy titan lore mentioned, akin to Ulduar...

No, everything about this expansion screams Wrath of the lich king. Wrath was blizzards best expansion and saw the pinnacle of subscription rates, So they seem to be reverting to what worked best.

On the point of demon hunters, I can see them being all kinds of silly in RP. I won't lie, i've always wanted to see someone RP one properly, but it has as yet been an elusive dream. If the class works however is another story. They look to already be competing for gear with rogues, monks and druids. I'm just hoping they don't become a better version of 'x' class like WW monks did in MoP for ferals/rogues. The two spec touch is nice, keeps it simple.

All in all, i predict the plot to be explosive! -- if predictable, so heres some spoiler idea si have of what is coming...

1 - Varian dies, killing on the beaches pre-expansion patch. in one of the trailers the devs made a point of having him seen with a much grown up anduin. This screams "new king". I highly suspect varians 2 handed sword will be the arms warrior artifact.

2 - Sylvanas loses her way, gets killed by lilian voss, new banshee queen.

3 - Wrathion will again lead the legendary line, and will be striving toward ressurecting or harnessing the power of a purified Sargeras (the only being who could contain the Legion, as apparently they can't die... not permenantly). No doubt he'l swoop in at the alst moment to turn khadgar's plans upside down to steal the legendary line.

4 - Tirion fordring dies, we know this because of ashbringer.

5 - Thrall isn't killed, but loses his way. if he does die, its side by side with varian, but metzen loves him too much.

6 - Khadgar is at odds with wrathion over how to combat the legion.

7 - we see some of the aspects, mainly involved in nelfarion (deathwing) lair.

8 - the battle on the boken shore is a worldwide struggle. The argent crusade, Ebon blade, Alliance, horde, Dalaran, all groups of different shapes and sizes do battle against the legion, with catastrophic loss of life. Ultimately rendering the Horde and alliance unable to fight each other (oh noes...).

Anyhow, thats just off the top of my head.

But eh, hype? a little. But really its just a rip off of Wrath of the lich king.

If I could add 1 thing for Legion, it would be the option to hide 1 or both shoulderguards. (I always thought Sre to be a 1-shoulder type of guy....)

One thing caught my eye

Rogues have three distinct specializations: Assassination, Outlaw, and Subtlety. Each brings with it a unique identity that is reflected within the Artifact weapon choices.

Combat spec being renamed to outlaw at least!
