Name: Not decided on an IC name yet! To be detemined!
Class: Still undecided.
Level: 90-100

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
I've been roleplaying on Defias Brotherhood since late TBC, I've been getting in and out of it, switching between doing a lot of roleplay to a lot of pvp(Sometimes participating in the world pvp). I haven't roleplayed for a good couple of months now and I've really felt like getting back into it but sadly roleplay seems quite dead on where I used to RP(Alliance on Defias Brotherhood). I'm completely fresh to Horde roleplay though! Over all these years of roleplaying I've been sticking to the Alliance, but I've decided I want to try something new!

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
I have several options for characters. In order to join you lot I'd need to faction change and transfer a character to Argent Dawn once you've made your move. Currently I'm leaning towards my Shaman but I also have a Warrior and a Hunter available for transfer. I'm having some troubles making an IC character in my head right now, as I told Sadok when I was talking to him over whispers the other day I like to develop my characters IC. I like starting from a trainee/apprentice kind of position and work my way up and develop my character on the way. I'm very open to suggestions or advice, I understand if it's difficult for you to approve the application without having a proper character in mind.

Hope to hear from you lot soon!

Peace,
CMH.

Hello!

First of all, thanks for you application!
As you say it indeed, it's a little hard for us to accept an application with zero information in it. I think it'd be good if you think up a foundation for your character at least. This can be pretty simple still, up to the point where you can still develop your character ICly from the point where he/she joins us.
Basically the things we'd like to know:
- A little background, where was he born, maybe a clan, or not?
- What did he do during the wars, was he born yet then? Maybe something about the internment camps?
- If he is a trainee, apprentice, how did he come to be such?
- Why would he wish to join the Red Blades?

In that way you have a good foundation already to work from, seeing we'll be asking these things in the IC interview as well once we approve your application.
You can read over the timeline if you're not really certain about Orc lore and things, and maybe get some idea's from that as well, or poke one of the ORB officers (me, Sadok, Kozgugore, Gridish and Therak) online so they can maybe help you flesh out the basics.

Good luck!

Fair enough. I was thinking about making an Orc of the Blackrock Clan, born into human captivity. Naturally he joined the Orcs in the rebellion against the Humans. The Shamans during the battles inspired the young Orc greatly and he would strive to become one himself. Once the Horde had made their way to Durotar and founded the city of Orgrimmar he sought out different Shamans to teach him. Many refused the eager Orc, but after some time he found someone to teach him. The old Orc that was instructing him would soon pass on due to old age, leaving the young Orc to continue on his own.

He still struggles, obviously not being a full-fledged Shaman yet! But now he sets out, eager to make a name for himself, eager to prove himself! But where to start? He caught word of a powerful tribe of Orcs, perhaps it will be worthwhile to seek them out?

(Name will be coming as I transfer the character, should I be accepted of course.)

Need more? Perhaps anything else that needs adding? Longer pieces of text were never my strong side.

Rhonya

That looks better already, indeed! :D We don't really need walls of text, just a simple idea is good enough already. Things you can still think about now are perhaps what your character did during the times the expansions came out, like with the Cataclysm, maybe he went along to Pandaria, has he been to Draenor, etc etc. But that's something you can always still consider later.

As you said in your first post, I understand you wish to transfer your character to AD as well. This means you can already do your interview before we go, on Defias if your character is there now if you want, and then transfer with all of us together on tuesday.
If he's on a different server alltogether, we can invite you crossrealm if you give us your battletag and give you a proper invite on AD, or wait until we've transferred ourselves!
Simply poke one of the names on this list ingame: http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0 to see if any of them is available for your IC interview!

Eheheh. My intended character happens to be a Draenei at the moment. Roleplay might be difficult! :'( Could get him racechanged right away.

CMH

I've transferred my character to Argent Dawn, I'm ready for any interview cross-realm if anyone wishes to do it(If you have time before your own transfer that is)

Sadok

Sounds great! Just give us your Battletag and we'll sort you out.
