My background

A pleasure to finally be involved with the DefiasRP Horde side! My name is Morea and I consider myself an experienced roleplayer. I first started roleplaying about seven years ago on a now-dead RP realm in World of Warcraft.

I consequently moved to Argent Dawn, and had a few breaks from the game, finding my new true home Defias & Co. in early 2014. I started using RP addons, became active on DefiasRP.com, and feel part of the community. Out of my Alliance characters, the one I roleplayed most is Tamil-DefiasBrotherhood. Now that I've seen most angles of Alliance RP, I am ready to explore the Horde.


Character background

Young child

Tsaru lost her family early in life, when she was four. A regular raid of a small Alliance outpost turned into a nightmare when a cowardly trap killed most adult members of her tribe - including both Tsaru's parents. To cope with the sudden loss, Tsaru did the best she could to adapt, helping out the remaining adults. Having to take care both of herself and younger kids, she learned a great deal of responsibility, although her peers emotionally kept their distance because of her short fuse. Tsaru's only friend was an old wolf named Rest.

Teenager

Eventually, a scouting party of a bigger Orc tribe came across Tsaru's tribe. All able men and women were drafted involuntarily as warriors of the new tribe, and the children made handservants. After seeing Rest brutally murdered before her eyes, eleven-years-old Tsaru silently swore revenge against her particularly nasty owners and steeled herself for a life of drudgery. Simple manual labour became her only companion - along with the master's lash.

Young adult

Constantly plotting petty revenge, the teenager became so violent due to poor treatment by her "betters" that she was exiled from the tribe. To stay alive, she resorted to theft, and when necessary, prostitution. She gained some mental marks and a special kind of street smarts. When Tsaru was caught stealing from a Tauren settlement, the shaman saw a wounded but smart young adult, and took her in to give her a second chance at life. Tsaru regained some strength and dignity, but found herself unwilling to embrace the Earth Mother worship. Eventually they parted on good terms and Tsaru went back out into the world to seek her fortune elsewhere.

Personality

As a toddler Tsaru was cheerful and sweet, but her misfortunes turned her into a rather unsociable, cynical and uptight person. Having known nothing but abuse and petty revenge, her life could have become emotionally hollow. However, she retained a certain twisted sense of humour which helped keep things bearable, and her painful memories and stubborn pride drove her to survive. She never achieved more than a basic education.

Appearance

Orphaned and abandoned, Tsaru survived by deft hand and fleet foot. During her teenage years the harsh labor regimen made her body strong. This was also the time when she started growing out her thick black hair, concealing her face as to avoid attracting attention. She carries herself with faked pride and thinly veiled arrogance, preferring to keep others in the dark about her past.

I've read through your application and I'm quite pleased with what I've read. The only thing that's missing in your story is to why you'd want to join the Red Blades, however that can be spoken upon in your IC interview.

With that said, concider your application accepted. The next step will be to poke one of the Tribe's Elders ( Kozgugore, Rhonya, Sadok, Therak or Gridish.)  for your IC interview when you are up for it. I hope to see you soon on the RP grounds!
