Throm-ka warriors! I've played World of Warcraft 7-8 months ago for 3 months or so in Defias Brotherhood. Played as a Night Elven Hunter, that i lost e-mail and password of the account.
I was a member of Natures Grasp guild. It was a good but tiring experience due to Night Elves' long lifetime. But i had to give a break to game because of university exam.
After settling down i said time to play something strong, something dangerous. Not a tree hugging hippie.   Decided to go as an Orc due to similiarities to Turks.



Thurgog is a 18 years old, born in 17, grunt, fighting for the Horde. He is 2.03 meters tall and he weights 194 pounds and yet to be bigger.
 
His parents were member of the Blackrock Clan. They were captured and sent to internment camps after the assault on Blackrock Spire. After ten years as slaves, they had a child and named him Thurgog.
Originally their clan is known to be against the Horde that Thrall reformed. But they joined the Horde at year 23, when Thrall first freed the Orc slaves from internment camps, including Thurgog and his parents, with the help of Orgrim Doomhammer. When Thurgog was 7 years old Doomhammer died. After the death of Doomhammer his parents had a vow to uphold that Orgrim fought and died for and they pledged their life to the new Horde. They raised Thurgog with the great deeds of Doomhammer. That didn't last much however, when Cataclysm struck, his parents died. Thurgog was 14 years old. After losing his parents he has been sent to orphanage in Orgrimmar for few years. There he started training and getting stronger everyday to be a proud soldier of the Horde.

Thurgog respects his leader (whoever that might be) too much to speak out. He believes that no matter the race everyone has a chance to be honorable. He keeps his thoughts about Undead and Blood Elven allies "mostly" to himself.

Howdy Thurgog, and thanks for applying!

The part of your application dealing with your character's personality and philosophy is quite nice, and it's always good to have more Blackrock orcs -- they're always relatively under-represented for whatever reason!

Unfortunately, there are also a few issues with the timeline in your application that mean whilst this application has potential, I can't yet approve it. To surmise the timeline issues rather simply, if Thurgog were around 18 years old, he would have had to be born roughly around 12-17 ADP (after the Opening of the Dark Portal), during the long period of internment prior to Thrall becoming Warchief.

In addition, the Cataclysm only occured a handful of years ago (no more than 4, certainly, even if Blizzard's own timeline is a bit shaky in places) and so Thurgog could not have aged twelve years (6 to 18) in such a short period of time.

If you can look over the Orcish Timeline thread and amend this application with a more appropriate chronology, I reckon I'd have no issue approving it -- so should you feel up to it, just edit your original post and then bump this thread up with a new post to let us know you've made the changes.
