Hi folks. I'm an insufferable showoff with a massive ego to boot, so I like showing off what I've achieved in-game.
This thread is a small collection of screens of places I've reached, and which are sometimes so bizarre or beautiful or quirky that I felt like sharing them with you! :)

So, here goes.
Full credit to Blizzard for such a wonderfully bugged world.

A shattered door.

A cavern in a goblin town

Green mists and altar.

A friendly tauren ringing a bell

Plagued grass

A forcefield

No more money problems.

Glory!

Tea time in Silvermoon.

Glowing Omelette

The Arcane Dream

Draenei really are from space.

Netherspace Seashell

Floating Castles

Anomaly.

Mage Sanctum

HELP!

Heatwave

A Thorny Sky

Gladiators.

Candy Floss valley.

A zone of near-perfect symmetry.

Flying Horses?! What next?

Appendix means... What?!

Greggar

Omg, I only recognised 1 or 2 places but...Wut? How? D: Do want.
Because orcs are green..Doesn't mean they can do photosynthesis..Or can they?

An acquaintance of mine, a grand master (I reckon he's the best explorer in the world at the moment) makes these amazing machinima videos of where he goes.

I think they deserve a mention
http://www.megavideo.com/?d=6YFSMJR9   Dark side of WotLK 37 mins.
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=133815   Point of View - The Preview of his upcoming film, 8 mins.

Both awesome pieces of work, exploration-wise as well as in film-making skills.

Around the world: strange stuff.

Living the Dream... in a galaxy.

Brain-melting greeness... I had to put on polarizing goggles.

Inside the canyon, someone had misplaced a few things...

A pearl                                  A pocket human                  A jade giant                      Some warp gates.

Carrying on, I reached a place of lucid dreams... swirls of greeness, outlandish flowers. My shamanistic sense twinged, but remained silent: this was a druid's place of power, where plants and trees reigned supreme.

Having tasted the sickly sweet nectar, I felt the urge to return home. I shall muse upon these findings in my hut.

Just for fun!
Developer's Botanical Samples.       The path to a treasure chest for giants, I bet.

Azshara is a fabled place of shattered cliffs and residual magic from a bygone era. I ventured into these strange lands, expecting danger. I found a deserted place, where the echoes of the past resonated across the silent vales.

Welcome to the Azshara Crater:

After leaving the bases, I stumbled upon a quiet enclave of furbolgs, who had also been driven out it seemed. I explored their caves, and noted with interest that they also seemed to follow shamanistic traditions.

As I crossed a certain point, my inner sense tingled. There was something hidden here. My eyes rolled up into my skull, and second sight visited me. What I saw was strange: a hidden sanctum of the night elves, dark and silent, ominous in its austerity.

Within the sanctuary, I decided that it was too dark:

Garmegin

"You watched and listened when other men would have shouted and raged. You held back instead of striking."

It's been snowing in Durotar:

(Also, here is my failed first attempt:)

A part of the Dream that had resisted me.

I ventured far into the psychedelic realms of the Druids, and today, I fell upon a a silent, enchanted forest. The very trees floated in the thin air, with blue water cascading from their trunk into their roots. Light filtered from their thick leaves, bathing the scene in an ethereal glow.

I revitalized myself in those mystical waters, then wandered further into the Forest, encountering what I think the druids refer to as the Eye of Ysera. Truly a wonderful sight. After, I summoned spirits of the wind to bring me back safely to Azeroth. I bid goodbye to this place, for it does not do to walk waking Dreams for too long, as they erode your sense of reality.
