Dead? No, Akesha has only died once and she made a full recovery. As for insanely corrupted - no change there then.

The expansion is truely excellent Reh, 100 times better than the awfulness that was tbc. The new gear models are fantastic too. I've already started to pick up some really orcy looking stuff, a new bow and a massive two handed sword made from wood and iron with wicked looking spikes (not the glowing crystal power rangers rubbish from Outlands).

It looks like Blizzard paid attention to the people who hated all of the spaceships and aliens stuff in tbc. I also remember them saying a long time ago, that they wanted Northrend gear to have a cool and distinctive look. From what I've seen so far, they have succeeded.

Lets just say that the WotLK quests are truly epic, the surroundings spectacular and it all feels right.
Damn fun to play. No spacethings as far as I've seen so far. Mind you I do move very slow not only due to Oznacks old age but also to enjoy stuff to the fullest
