So we are a Roleplaying guild..

Alright just for intro, this is my opinion and only that.
And I let you know that I can't explain that well so please don't try to freak out or anything too fast alright?

You might notice my mood in the text changing.

Anyway, I have been observing the guild for a long time and been thinking.

For a roleplaying guild, we aren't really RP active are we?
Now you might say we do alot of events but that's only when Koz is around. Now Koz ain't here and everything falls silent.

Then you might say, come on! we still rp!
Yes that can be..But you only rp when someone talks to you. For the rest you jump around focusing only on pve or pvp.

Koz is the only one organizing events. It's rare to see someone ask if others want to rp..
Now fine, of course you can do kara and instances. but if you focus more on pve than rp? Why did you join a rp guild or a rp server? : /

Even now with my event i'm planning. I still miss a person that can perform the ritual IC'ly. And Im looking for 2 weeks : /

Also, I only see rp when someone organises an event. And it are most of the times the same person.. And because of all this people are doubting the guild and eventually leave of these stuff.

What I see are symptons of my old guild on Ravenholdt. People starting to focus more and more on pve and stuff and slowly leave rp in the closet. Eventually the guild went in chaos and it fell apart.

Now rp doesn't have to be special..And you don't need to be of high rank to organise stuff. Also what I noticed is that the reactions on rp and events are much more positive and alot more reply when for example Koz or any other high ranked does something than when newbies do..

Now I repeat..I might have said everything alot more different than I planned to do and it might come out all differently..But what I thought or felt is just too hard to describe now. Please don't feel insulted or anything..But if nowhone sais it..How else are things gonna change?

Good post, i right now, only play for the RP ( since i hit 70 ) .. and you may have noticed my activity has dropped alot, simply because the RP has downgraded alot, i too think this is because of Koz's absence, a shame really..

I is back. At least sorta. Shame to hear things are going quiet when there aren't any events around though. I've been trying to prepare the guild somewhat in the event I would be absent for a small or long while. Seems I haven't done it to satisfactory yet though. As Gregs said though, it's partially responsibility for the members themselves whether we remain the active, respected RP guild we are.
