Grockh's dreams

Morgeth

It all seems so familiar; too familiar to be true. The barren landscape, stricken with disease, harbours nothing but the lost hope of several races. Sickly fire erupts from the cracks within the earth itself, and a tiny imp swirls down a makeshift path along the rubble of what was once yours to be held.
This used to be home.
The tiny demon skitters over burning embers, only stopping to tap one of its clawlike fingers to a skull halfway hidden into the earth. Small, burning eyes turn to gaze upon the lonesome warlock, and a little snicker escapes the insane creature. It waves a bony hand to urge orcish feet to move about just a bit faster. To follow, to flutter along, in a deranged kind of dance. It drags him along, and together they move forward, sparing no sentimental thought to what it might be that is so gently crushed underneath the soles of their feet.
The taste of decay lingers against the tip of the tongue, but no bodies lie scattered to be proof of its origin. Dead trees reach out towards each other, as if having spent their final moments hoping to at least not die alone.
"But we know better, don't we?"
The imp cackles wildly, as it skitters the last few feet to the source of the spoken words, and the demon is soon lodged to the side of an orcish head. It clutches to her dark skin in an almost loving way, had it not been for the fact that its claws dig deep enough for thick trickles of dark blood to be seen running down the side of her face. The female orc finishes her words with a knowing smirk, narrowing her gaze to the warlock in front of her.
"Grockh. Did you think I would let you forget?"
She is an impressive sight; painted against the background of a dying world, with chaos brewing in her eyes and power itself lingering underneath the very tips of her fingers. Her arms unfold, as if embracing the rancid air, and the dark-skinned female gestures towards the unwilling guest.
"Isn't it very disappointing, lingering with the mangy wolves? Do you really think them remotely part of the heritage that Grothduk spoke of?"
Her lips twist into a condescending smirk, and the earth itself seems to churn in agiatated amusement; whispering vile, little prayers from a thousand distorted mouths, melting into one soft sentence, brought forward in a sickly wind.
~Poor, poor Grockh~
The smirk grows into a grin and her head is soon tossed back in laughter - a hearty cackle - which gains an eerie echo as its carried across the vast, dead landscape.
"Petty! So very petty. Is this what you have become? You succumb to their rules, their inferior ways. Since when did we let dogs make our path?!"
The imp's clutch grows tighter, making for the disturbing sight of even more blood painting her odd visage. Thick streaks of black run down her gloating features, but the she-orc simply smiles, giving a brief display of her sharp teeth.
"You know the outcome of all this. They seek to fight both scourge and alliance, without daring to grasp the one thing that brought us power, the one thing that spoke to our very core. You were born this way, Grockh - there is no turning back! Not for you! Your precious shamans can do nothing. Let them bark, but I will not falter!"
The contained laughter breaks into a purely insane cackle, from which she can barely recover. A sudden sway to the agile hips, along with a twirl of sorts, makes for an odd display of a dance, before the she-orc stares back at her male counterpart.
"Because you wouldn't want me to. Wouldn't allow it. You have lingered here for far too long, little one. It is time to move on. Whilst their feet will play a mocking drum against the ground, you will move forward. This.. control you have submitted yourself to. It is nothing. A game worth playing for a while, but now.. no more."
His hand in hers and a sudden tug is all it takes to bring orc to orc, and when her teeth grit together in a low hiss, they do so whilst brushing up against the lobe of his right ear.
"You were meant for more."
I want to be just like you. I figure all I need, is a lobotomy and some tights.

((OOC: This is something I promised Grockh a long, long time ago. I wanted to pour some of my thoughts into something, and since Morgeth wasn't as troubled as Grockh, I wanted a dip inside his head. I might add more, if my creativity is deep enough. Just now I wanted to splatter some emo-nonsense. I hope you didn't mind be borrowing your warlock's head for that <3))
