Junkah

Name: Junkah Blackscar
Class: Warrior
Level: 100

About: Hey there. I've been RPing in this game since roughly '07, starting on The Sha'tar. I moved to AD a few years back with a group of pals, when The Sha'tar's population started to dwindle. We founded a bunch of guilds, the main effort being <The Sunfire Vanguard> (a Thalassian regiment, with me as officer for the Old Horde sellswords). Now that everyone's drifted apart, I'm looking for a place to put down roots!

Orcs are my jam, so I'm very familiar with the lore.

Background:

Blackscar was born into the Bleeding Hollow clan prior to the founding of the Horde, a bloody-minded youth well-suited to the carnage that defined the next few years.

The Horde's victory at Shattrath cemented his loyalty to this demon-blooded army. It was never a matter of right and wrong for Blackscar, but a matter of nature â€" water runs downhill, the sun rises and falls, and the Horde crushes its enemies. Divided, the clans were either weak, broken or enslaved. United, they brought down the walls of the Holy City.

The First and Second Wars came and went. Defeats and betrayals stalled their momentum. Draenor broke apart in a storm of misguided sorcery. Trapped on the wrong side of the Dark Portal with the Warsong clan, it was the first of many setbacks and losses for Blackscar â€" and when he first knew the demon's blood for the curse it was. These cold, miserable years defined much of what he is today.

After the Founding of Durotar and the Third War, he fought for the young warchief as a sergeant. When the Dark Portal reopened, the sight of his desolated homeworld broke his faith in Thrall's Horde â€" a Horde that fought not for conquest, but for survival, striking out in desperation, not confidence.

He became a sellsword, gathering a like-minded band of disillusioned killers (Blackscar's Reavers), and headed north to fight the Lich and his soulless legions â€" daring to hope that the mounting popularity of Garrosh Hellscream meant change was on the horizon.

When the Darkspear Rebellion eventually raged through Orgrimmar, however, he sided with Vol'jin. Though hungry for the glories of the past, Hellscream's way spat on worthy alliances with the clans and kingdoms of the Horde. He shed Kor'kron blood, each rise and fall of his axe feeling like the blackest betrayal.

He stands at a crossroads now, as chieftains he reveres as heroes repeat the same mistakes they did thirty years ago. He can either accept the Horde for what it is â€" an alliance of underdog survivors sworn to a Darkspear warchief... or continue on in this purgatory of conflicted desires and loyalties, sworn to a Horde that hasn't existed for decades.

Hello Junkah and welcome to the Red blade forums! I have read through your application and am quite pleased with what I read. There is one thing I'd like you to think about before you head into your IC interview which is why your orc wants to join the Red Blade tribe. Consider your application accepted though. So next up is the IC interview. The goal of the IC interview is for your character to establish contact with the tribe's members. Here is a list of orcs you can do your IC interview with: http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0
Just nudge any of these people and if they have time they'll be happy to help you! The tribe has moved to Booty Bay, so pop by! You can always RP with us even if your character isn't in the Red Blades!

Strength and Honour,

- Rrosh'tul Rimeweaver
