Osan the Orc

Osan sat in deep thought in the high hills of the Barrens bordering the Ashenvale forest.
Despite the ever increasing heat of the sun round this time of year, a strong wind ensured the weather was kept in balance.
Osan was feeling somewhat odd he had been residing in the hills for almost a few months. Hardly leaving his spot to go down and mingle with the tribe. In fact for the past few weeks now he had hardly moved at all.
Hunger was starting to set in, and the water supply he had gathered painstakingly from the long trips to the Oasis was beginning to diminish.
Even the chicken seemed somewhat fed up, bathing in the shade of a tree; The only tree which resided up on the bordering hills. Another gust of wind caused the tree to reply with a rustle of leaves which clapped together almost to applaud the view beyond.
Osan had his blades set before him along with his armor. He was extremely proud of his belongings, his tabard still clung to his torso in defiance, revealing that despite the lack of anyone to show it too he had to keep it on in case someone or something happened to appear. Identity is always an important factor for any sort of being.
He was about to rise when a sudden thud with a slight metallic tone crashed next to him.
Peering at the object slowly he found a large Bolt action rifle with a barrel capable of firing enormous rounds if required.
He turned his head slowly and saw a large Tauren accompanied by an alien looking raptor, one clearly from outland by its sharp crest and vibrant colours with glowing eyes to add to the more then colourful appearance.
The Tauren's mail armor shifted slightly as he regarded the orc.
Osan turned his head back round to his armor.
"Me be thinking you was gunna arrive soon" said Osan slowly not making any move.
The soft thumps as the Taurens hooves met dried ground grew as the massive bull came closer to circle round Osan and sat down facing him, picking up his gun and shouldering it quickly.
"Yes, I thought you would be up here, it is a good place to think, the air is so clear." Boomed the Tauren.
"And... " He added taking note of the surroundings "So clear."
Osan nodded watching the Taurens raptor move past the Orc ensuring it didn't decide to gobble up his chicken which was now eagerly raiding a small termites nest.
"Hellvern, what is it you want now? There be so much me be doing, me has much to think upon... Last time we spoke, we almost get killed by them Water spirits."
Hellvern chuckled at the memory.
"I am here to ask an old friend for help. One could say I am becoming increasingly unpopular in the Eastern Kingdoms. This war raging to new heights of conflict between the Alliance and the Horde arguable won't help my position anymore."
Osan looked surprised, he had heard of the war but was too deeply engrossed over issues concerning his family, something his mind had come to dwell on much the past few months.
"Me always thought you liked to fight Hellvern, you always seemed to be pretty braidy when it came to smashin'."
Hellvern smiled, the first signs of gray on the Bulls pitch black fur were beginning to show, only slightly masked by the bright sun reflecting of such highlights.
"War, Killing it makes the mind grow older dear Osan. Though one may still feel young in the height of battle or whilst back at home, warm and safe. Every time a life is taken that sudden wrenching of hearts and spilling of blood curses the killer forever, almost letting a piece of him die in the process of such an act."
Osan flicked an eyebrow at this.
"Me still not old yet Hellvern!"
Hellvern smirked.
"No, not yet anyway Orc... It will dawn on you one day, maybe it won't."
Osan nodded at the latter causing Hellvern to erupt into laughter.
Hellvern recovered and stood up.
"Anyhow, Osan I require your help, since the disbanding of Taur Nu Fuin I have been left pretty much again to my own devices, there is also no pay, no loot and therefore I am a poor Tauren. I need a loyaly friend to help me with... regaining my riches."
Osan looked at Hellvern for a moment. To be interested in such things as money or gold was unusual for most ordinary Taurens. However Hellvern could rarely be put down as ordinary.
Osan nodded, the job may help him as well, though the orc was not in deep desire for riches he was in need of talking to the old friend, as well as needing an opportunity to swing a blade. Which knowing Hellvern, fighting was always round the corner.
"Ok Hellvern, fill me and Mr Chicken in on your plan."
Hellvern glanced at the chicken which was now perched inbetween the two individuals.
"Ok heres the deal... "
