...when I set forth and bore you all with something random I decided to play and record when I finish work. (read 2 am)

Anyhoo, as it was my birthday, I treated myself to some new equipment, so I jammed a bit, then knuckled down and did a little recording. I played this like 2 years ago, and uploaded it for all to endure, so for nostalgia and love, here's a new version!

Had to take the site down due to an issue with the database. Fortunately, nothing was lost, and I found the culprit.

Just a heads up.

18/08 - Edit. It seems like posts made on Sunday and late Sataurday were lost during the downtime. A number of small updates were also lost in the Wiki. If you notice anything else a miss, please let me know.

Since the Wiki currently exploded, I have two options, which is purge the thing from my hard drive or reinstall it and start afresh.

Is their sufficient interest and drive to support a wiki, as their was questionable interest before, or is it better without one?

I’m not sure; where peace once existed, turmoil now rots.

"I thought we had closed the chapter, need we start another? Really, there doesn’t appear to be any more to this that meets the eye..."

Oh come now, has this time alone blinded you that much?

"What are you trying to say?"

Only what you are afraid to... It seems your oath is yet to be fulfilled.

"Blah! Just words, I’ve done my part in this life, have I not earned a break."

And what exactly is that ‘part’?

"I’m done, I owe nothing."

And what of the heretics?

"Mhakzul? Moggrash? They’re both through. Small minds with big dreams."

You know they’ll be replaced...

"Then let them, they’re are not my problem."

Are you so afraid to admit that you miss it all?

Hearken up, orcs! The alliance is mounting an assault, or so I have heard. The Frostbloods have asked for our assistance, for orcish warmanship! We will meet at Sunrock Retreat at the sixth horn. Lok'tar Ogar!

((OOC: Frostblood has asked for Wpvp help next Sunday. I told him we're mustering a group of 6-10 orcs to help them. All who can be at the Sunrock Retreat. It's a set 40 vs 40 wpvp event. I upgraded the post after having a chat with the guild leader of FB and heard the newest news. Sorry for any inconvenience))

Cold beads of sweat dripped down Azurils face.

“Drevan! How... why... this can’t be happening!” Azuril rubbed his eyes.

The figure before him smiled. “So many questions my son... “

“Argh! You’re my father?! How could you not say anything? How could you let me...” Azuril was interrupted.

“...Release me?”

“Release you?” Azuril’s eyes widened. “I thought you were dead! Now I find that it was I who killed you...”

“I wouldn’t have it any other way...”

“You’re mad!” Azuril retorted. “Why must you continue to plague my life; why am I paying for your mistakes...  Did Grandfather know?”

“No...” The figure replied. “He could never understand, he never had the capacity of thought that you posses” The figure sighed. “Father...”

“What is it you want...”

“To give you what you rightfully deserve; The truth, about me.”

“Go on...” Azuril nodded slightly.

“You may think me a traitor, a wretched pawn of the legion, and you wouldn’t be wrong, but you wouldn’t be completely right either. After the legion arrived, I, like many others fell for their lure of power. Except, unlike many, I didn’t settle for what they offered. I explored the path they opened beyond what they saw fit. I saw the legion for what they truly were and did all I could to steer others away from it. However, it didn’t go unnoticed. A powerful Warlock named Kharamn ‘allied’ himself with me. However he only sought to abuse my knowledge into empowering himself. Still, it gave me a shadow to hide behind.

“Why tell me that this power hungry Warlock was my father?!”

“Simple, if you believe him dead, you can’t go looking for him. I had to find you.”

“But grandfather...”

“I spread the word that the once wise and honourable Drevan, now calling himself Kharamn, had declared open war on the Legion. With those words, I succeeded in removing Kharamn, one of the few who knew my true identity and removing all trace of my doings, in the hope others would not follow. I followed the Orcs into Azeroth where I watched over my family, from the darkness. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong company, and once again, I found myself indirectly aiding the legion. It was then that I decided my very being was a plague upon the people near me... and so, I tracked down and forced my only son to kill me.”

“This changes nothing, you still a traitor, and a liar.”

“I know that, and I only wish you could see the change I wish I could have made, however, I was too far down a path to madness. One you very nearly followed.”

Azuril turned away.

“Do you even know your family name?”

“I...”

“I was Drevan Stormfist, son of Arakash Stormfist, and it is my greatest wish that you see me as your father, as who I was, not who I became and to bring honour to your Grandfather in ways I could not, to bring honour to me in ways I could not, to bring honour to my name in ways I could not.

Azuril shot up from his bed. The same cold beads of sweat lined his face. Next to him he picked up a small hand carved totem.

“Grandfather, I’ll do my best to be the son you were so cruelly denied.”

After literally hundreds of seconds of testing, the roster based on the RPG Outfitter code is running.

Click the top "Roster" link and feel free to update the roster. You'll need to Character Profiler addon to make it work, which you can get here.

Any questions or comments, please post them up.

You should notice a new link at the top of the page for events. Feel free to use it, you should be able to add and edit your own events.

When an event is created, it'll automatically be posted in the Event Planning Forum, however, be sure to add the date and time into the description too!

Get familier with it, make some tests, knock yourself out.

At the top of your menu bar, you should now see a link for the Gallery and Wiki.

Feel free to upload any images into the gallery. It will be roated randomly and shown in the Block to the left.

(( Seiken and his bunch will attack Splintertree Post upcoming Sunday, 9 December, at 20:00. Like his previous attack in the Barrens, he will bring plenty of arrow fodder, so make sure you try to attend to kick the bucketheads out. These attacks are part of an upcoming large-scale WPVP campaign, so better shine those weapons and get ready to rumble. ))
