Kosh'Harg - Chieftains Meeting Notes

Started by Verzan, March 16, 2018, 08:46:34 PM

Previous topic - Next topic

Verzan

These are the notes taken by Verzan Skywise from her vantage point over hearing the Chieftains meeting at a recent Kosh'harg, they are accessible to anyone in the clan.
Her hand writing is actually very smart yet interspersed with rather offensive drawings of people who seem to have upset her recently.

It is clear from the writing some pieces of conversation are either missing or were purposely left out of the notes.

-----

-Issrel Quickfeather, Oathbound Houds.
-Tonroq of the Skyhorn tribe.
-Grashka Redcleaver, Chieftain of the Iron Wolf Clan.
- Kotus of the Highmountain Tribe
- Chyou-ka, Champion of the Frozen paw Clan.
- Aeldrys Manastriel of the Evermoon Institude.
- Trakmar Beastbane of the Red Blade, Spiritual Advisor to Chieftain Feraleye.
- Segtillis Arowik, Contractor of the Primeblade. *Superiors away on buisness, he stepped in.

Reshthul Bloodburner - Master of ceremonies.

Reshthul - Glad to see you have all made it, to start, while many see Kosh’harg as just a festival. It also held a deeper meaning: for clan leaders to discuss potential threats and ways for the orcish race to survive as a whole.
With the recent events in Silithus, I am sure this warrents immediate attention.

Grashka - From what I understand there are mining operations in the area.

Reshthul - Our world has shown itself to be a truly living thing, and this strange ore has begun rising around the wound. We must speak of ways to discover what this substance is, and how we must survive long enough for the wound to be healed.

--Rude drawing of Reshthul, looking much like a warlock with many arrows in his face--

Manastriel - Just cut the Alliances hands off and be done with it.

Chyou-ka - Are you all aware of the Island they found off of Feralas?

Reshthul - It is a substance of power, that much is known. But Ultimately, we must figure out how we can keep ourselves united and not fracture in panic.

Chieftain Fereleye - During our time in Silithus during the skirmishes, we have had but a brief chance to investigate these ores. I fear we do not have much newfound knowledge to provide for ourselves, other than that it holds certain power we have not yet experienced before.

Reshthul - Feralas? I heard one being found near silithus, but not Feralas care to explain?

Grashka - Panic, elder? What could cause us to panic?

Tonroq - What is so special about this ore? I have heard of other special and rare materials without a panic happening.

Chyou-ka - They’ve got an Airforce trying to control the skies?

--Excited and illegible scribbles something, something airforce, something something gryphons. Something something feathers on my saddle for kills--

Trakmar Beastbane - Supposed magical properties, Skyhorn. Seems to be enough incentive to spark yet another damned war. -moody grunts-

Reshthul - How about the Dark titan stickng Azeroth like a butcher stabs a pig? The people of Azeroth are in a frenzy from what I have witnessed, and rightfully so. We must ensure the same does not happen to us.

Manastriel - Last I saw of their airforce was a large airship going over before crashing into Stormheim.

Chyou-ka: It’s concerning. Though, they’re throwing so much at this island, its not long before tey may be throwing the same efforts to try and control the South of Kalimdor.

Reshthul - Before all, we must be confident that we can turn to each other in these times. I am aware that many groups hold grudges against each other, but justified or not, we’re in this together.

Issrel - The hounds and its allies have agreeed that we should keep on stand-by in case of further conflict between the factions emerges. For now we should keep from causing all out war, but remain ready for a call-to-arms, in case the time comes. I’d suggest all our groups do the same. Horde-first.

Tonroq - A united front will see us right, and keeping the Alliance from gaining any control of this substance.

Chyou-ka - Of course. The Horde is our home. We defend it before all else.

Grashka - Of course, elder… my clan is always willing to fight for the Horde. The well being of its people is priority.

Reshthul - but if Chyou-ka is right, then Silithus is not the only place where this ore can pop up. Kalimdor, Northrend, the eastern kingdoms, Pandaria. It could pop up anywhere.

Chyou-ka - They won’t see Pandaria become another staging ground for conquest.

Grashka - So that is Pandaria covered.

Kotur - That is unfortunate indeed. Any ideas on how this wound can be healed?

Reshthul - Glad to hear it. I am sure they won’t surrender the ore either, at risk of it igniting more conflict and forcing your people to pick a side.

Grashka - ...For once I am agreeing with Zeep.

----REALLY rude drawing of Zeep on fire---

Kotur - I do not believe a war is a good idea if the Earthmother is bleeding as we speak.

Chyou-ka - Any ore that appears on Pandaria belongs to Pandaria. They are are the only people we can trust beyond this Horde wholly to not have malicious intent.

Reshthul - Indeed, but that hasn't stopped the Horde and Alliance before.

Manastriel - I don’t believe that we particularly have a choice

Kotur - If the world dies… Then what?

Reshthul - Then perhaps we will fade along with it.

Skulltaker - then we all die with it.

Chyou-ka - In the meantime, we need to make sure every piece of ore that comes out of the ground is accounted for. Any piece that is missing could spell catastrophe.

Skulltaker - For whatever it’s worth, Ive heard the same from the shaman in the blood howl.

Reshthul - Indeed. The one called Bronzebeard seems to have a connection to the earth. Dwarf he may be, but the champions of the many orders speak highly of him. They include members of our own races.

Zeep - It is a dwarf speaking. Of course he wants to make us DOUBT this.
How can you be sure he serves Azeroth, hm?

Chyou-ka - Ins’t the man made entirely of diamonds?

Kotur - But still, harvesting the blood of the Earthmother for such destructive purposes….but I will not thread on that.

Zeep - Maybe her serves the ALLIANCE, and is using us as pawns to obtain this...mineral.

Trakmar Beastbane - How can you be sure he doesn not?

---Even more drawings of Zeep on fire being eaten by sharks----

Grashka - It has...Rumours are that there was an attack on the barrens recently.

Reshthul - I do wonder where Khadgar stands in this, He’s proven himself to not be aligned to either side. And an attack on the barrens?

Grashka - Bah…. Humans.

Onokowa Stormhoof - I merely wished to say, that anyone with a bond to the elements or the natural world amongst us, can sense the plight of Azeroth as a world as a result of the wound in Silithus. We must take care that Azeroth does not end up as this world has become.

Shattered, beyond all repair. If we must fight against those who would exploit this resource then so be it, but we must take care that we do not become that which we would oppose.

Chyou-ka - I doubt the Archmage will turn against us, after all of this.

Grashka - Because you warned me about it, Zeep.

And considering my clan lives on the border between north and southern barrens, its hard not to notice…

Segtillis Arowik - Indeed, we have also been handed contracts in pursuing Alliance threats, I can not deny the fact that there has been a major increase in Alliance activity.

Reshthul - he is right. We must not become the destroyers of this world. Otherwise, we’d may as well let Gul’dan and the legion succeed.

Kotor - The highmountain will provide all the supplies and mending tht we can.

Issrel - We should sease from fight just yet… I don’t presume the Warchief will appreciate her people causing wars without her consent. But yes, if there is signs of aggression, they should not go unanswered.

Grashka - ….For corpses, they can yell very loudly.

Reshthul - Glad to hear the Highmountain are with us, But for all intents and purposes, we must keep an eye out for this strange substance in case it starts sprouting elsewhere.

Chyou-ka - The frozen paw is ready to take on any threats that show up at our doorstep. If the Alliance want to threaten the Barrens they’d best be prepared for the consequences.

Skulltaker - ‘Blood howl will continue as we have for now, wandering the land and fighting for the Horde. This -does- mean, though, that we’ll be albe to look out for this new ore as it pops up around Kalimdor and move there quickly.

Manastriel - The best thing we can do is keep the Alliances heads off it, I mean, they have these ‘Void elves’

Chyou-ka - Right now, they seem to make a case of pushing North from the South.
Resh-thul - It is very powerful, and its not just the Alliance we must worry about obtaining it. What of the Shadow Council, or the Death’s Head Quillboard or the Zandalari?

Manastriel - I would not worry about these ‘Void elves’ I am sure they are few in number.

Kotur - What will it give in return?

Grashka - You worry about pigmen Elder?

Zeep - We live in a DESERT.

Onokowa Stormhoof - Your people chose to settle there, did they not?

Zeep - If we can save Azeroth as the Horde… it will surely grant us bountiful lands… Islands to conquer…

Manastriel - The void elves corrupt anything they touch, think of them haivng something as powerful as that substance…

Zeep - Do you think we have a choice? Look around.

Kotur - This world is our home. A place which nurtures us and gives us life. We owe nothing to it. By healing it we ensure our own survival.

Thelaenae Tel’ithin - So does fel...arcane.

Grashka - Lets focus on what we are talking about…

Kotus - We either heal it or we die

Elder Trakmar Beastbane - How about we just stick to one topic at a time…

Onokowa Stormhoof - That may well be the reality.

Reshtul - With regards to the Void elves. Their nation turned on them for looking into a particular magic source. You cannot betrey who does not want you. Pray that Lor’themar didnt hand the Alliance a weapon.

Kotur - he Probably did

Zeep - Going into exile is one thing

Grashka - Elves…

Manastriel - When our leader, First Arcanist Thalyssra went on a diplomatic wisit to Silvermoon, their leader, Alleria Windrunner, set the forces of the void loose on their sunwell.
Zeep - Indicates they had no intention of staying in the first place.

Reshthul - Your people have done so for years. Why go against them now, all of a sudden?

Issel - We don’t dabble in the void.

Manastriel - It almost stroyed their font of power.

Reshthul - You’ve had show priests before. I take it they simply began diving too deep?

Issrel - Indded.

Trakmar Beastbane - If it be elves drunk on the power of the void, seems to me the Alliance accepted time-bombs into their ranks… Which could turn badly for both sides. It is indeed a worrying matter.

ReshThul - Exiled out of fear. Hmmmm.

Grashka - Such is what happens when you dabble in any sort of unnatural magic…

Issrel - Security.

Manastriel - And think of them, if they unwillingly almost corrupted one font of power, what they would do to Azerite?

Resh’Thul - Magic is a natural force in the universe, but what we can do with it can cause the unnatural.

Kotur - Then we should expect that they will unleash the void upon our people.

We must find a way to defend against it.

Issrel - As the Lady said, Windrunner’s sister set free forces of the void on our most holy site.

Reshthul - They also have the Lightforged on their side. Shadow and Light, fighting side by side. Who’d have imagined it?

Issrel - They are no kin of ours after such act.

Grashka - I don’t care to hear it, Elder. Magic is something I will never trust, unless its from the elements themselves.

Chieftain Feraleye - Yet ewe have the people of Highmountain and Suramar on ours. I would say we got the better end of those choices. So be it.

Grashka - Back on Topic
Reshthul - The light forced to be elite soliders on Argus. Don’t be so quick to dismiss them. They’ve likely had thousands of years to refine their fighting arts.

--Angry scribbles possibly a drawing of Elder Mog’raka thundersong it is difficult to tell for the volume of cactus apples pinned to the shape of a female orc--

Reshthul - Then we must ensure that this ore gets to a safe location. If we found it chances are the Alliance has as well.

Chieftain Feraleye - I trust that is something we might work out.

Reshthul - Indeed. It’ll just be a matter of getting the ore from its founding location to Orgrimmar. Armed escorts would be wise.

Setillis Arowik - We can offer Escorts, we have the men and blades to.

Skulltaker - The Blood howl will always stand ready to assist the Horde. Heh. But that much is obvious.

Issrel - We should notify others of its existance before. I presume multiple groups and Horde soldiers will combined escort it.

Reshthul - So are we all in agreement?

Segtillis Arowik - Because this concerns the Horde friend, we live, breath and die for the Horde. If something threatens it’s people and the future of other clans, we will stand and fight to each and every last man.
