So Donald Trump won. This is what happens when you demonize people who have different opinions to you and smugly believe that your candidate will win in a landslide. Nearly saw the same thing happen here in Ireland with the fruitpunch marriage referendum where the Yes side threw hissy fits and called anyone who voted No a disgusting bigot.

Ugh.. I legit can't understand how they ended up having to choose between those two, it goes against everything we would vote for here

mostly it's because of Americas "Winner takes all" politic... and the gerrymandering, and the media involvement + a bunch of other dumb things (like the electorate college)

and you know, them being Americans, can't have something sane happening in the colonies can they?
