Gene-seed purity
A New Generation - Gene-seed is slightly divergent (usually because of attempts to breed out flaws, real or not), leading to the Chapter being less linked to its progenitor

We don't get any mutation! Truly a Glorious Day in the name of the Emperor!
On top of that, White Scars does not have any common genetic mutation or flaw so we don't get any from them as well!

Chapter Demeanour
Suffer Not the Work of Heretics

We are the Emperors Angles of Death, we hate Heretics, I mean, you be amazed how much we hate them.
We won't use anything that have been made by heretics, even if our lives depend on it.
Ride a heretek hover craft to save our battle-brother? How about no.
Stray from the Imperial Truth? How about no.

No Mutation of Flaws, so those rolls are discarded.
Only Dark Angles and Ultramarines have nicer Gene-seed then us I say!

The description offered by /tg/ is fitting, we do have a nice castle on the world and we take the children of those we find worthy.

We need a name for our Homeworld too! As well our Legendary Chief Librarian that will be back any moment now...

This means we are close to Codex, but we do things our way. Like Salamanders or Blood Angles.

Probably calling neophyte "New Blood" and refering Battle-Brothers the rank of "Oathbound", as well Trials to proceed from New Blood Rank.
Also splitting our Chapter in 3 Parts, Path of Strength, Path of Wisdom and Path of Cunning.

We haz tanks and armored transport. Clearly, when you need a nut to crack, you call the Red Blade.

Totemic Charm: This Chapter has strong beliefs in the icons of either the Emperor or their Primarch. A Battle- Brother from this Chapter would never be caught without such an icon on their person. Example: Chapter Heraldry on a necklace, Imperial Aquilla tattooed over the right eye.

As honoring, we perform trials and are rewarded by the chapter with charms. The Wvyern claw is one example as such. Each battle-brother choose what to do with his, necklace, armor/weapon decoration and so on.
