I am enjoying my break from wow, but i do miss the campfire and the shenanigans. It is weird that i am not hyped for legion yet, anyone else not really hyped but kinda just accepting the new stuff with a Um okay sure kinda vibe?

And I love the Diablo seasons Rashka! I just find I can never play them for more than .. A week or two max D: I get a character geared and then I cant be bothered to grind endlessly for the ancient pieces

Haven't really been into any of the WoW content since the Dragon Soul patch, I've just been on board for RP. But the descent into grinding mechanics and Timeless Isle-style dailies in WoD was the death-blow, and the only thing to tide people over is hype for an expansion which might come out Soon(TM), maybe and perhaps.

Places an increasingly-heavy burden on RP guilds and their officers to become content generators, given that when people log on nowadays, there's just not much compelling to do, be it PvE, PvP or otherwise.

Not really hyped for Legion at all, but I hope it shakes things up considerably. The concept at this point is less important than the execution, given that Blizzard have consistently failed to deliver engaging content thick and fast, despite promising to buck the trend of delays with each subsequent ex-pac.

I think blizzard still think the core of the game is what it was back in Vanilla. Unfortunately, the core of vanilla was exploring a huge world and thanks to WoWHead, that is no longer possible. So they try to produce huge new flashy things for you to explore and they seem strangely ignorant that most people just go thru that quickly with little exploration.

Legion may or may not be a hit, and this comes down to one key point...

its WoTLK 2.0...  WoW's high point was wrath, in terms of active players and content. and many people who play now did not play during WoTLK, Thus its my opinion that pople will either find it samey and get bored or fall in love with it.

at the end of the day, for such an old game, WoW will never be what it 'was'. But it does have immense RP potential in legion.

I am not hating on legion or anything, i am just kinda vaguely optimistic bordering on jaded as fuck, there's is lot of interesting stuff in it. And as regards to content, the Red Blade officer team has always mades rp content interesting and fun. So tbh i am looking forward more to what the red blades will be doing in legion rather than whatever the main storyline is...(No pressure  )
