Urganosh

Name: Urganosh Stormfury

Class: Warrior

Level: 15 (and counting!)

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience: Recently started roleplaying on WoW, currently in the Ilvanesta guild on my Sin'dorei, coming up to 3-3.5 years' experience of medieval roleplay on Mount & Blade: Warband. Read an extensive amount of fantasy books, been interested in roleplaying for a long time!

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
(going off of the unofficial timeline: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline_(unofficial))

Born in the year 597 (by the King's Calendar), Urganosh was one of the many Orcs to be contained in the human internment camps as a result of the mostly unsuccessful Orcish invasion of Azeroth. Since he was born practically as he and his fellow captured Orcs were being bundled into the camps, he was raised in them by his father, for his mother had died in childbirth.

Eventually freed by Thrall and his warriors, Urganosh was 19 years old by this time, and rapidly learned to wield the traditional Orcish weaponry, surrounded by so many other fighters. He followed Thrall across the seas, and was lucky enough to survive the landing of Kalimdor and Archimonde’s invasion. However, his father was not so fortunate, and died in the midst of the fighting.

Urganosh’s prowess in combat did not go unnoticed, and he was inducted into the Kor’kron elite shortly after the founding of Orgrimmar. When the Dark Portal was opened, and Illidan Stormrage’s regime was ordered to be crushed, he and other Kor’kron were sent to Outland to assist. The same happened when Arthas Menethil launched another Scourge invasion of Azeroth, and the Kor’kron were the primary Horde force tasked with venturing to Northrend and putting him down.

When Deathwing rose however, and Garrosh became Warchief, his heinous acts directly violated the code of honour Urganosh had grown up with amongst the Orcs, and so he abandoned the Kor’kron, assisting the Darkspear Trolls and Tauren against him, eventually succeeding. Afterwards, he was reinstated in the Kor’kron, and assisted on the past-timeline Draenor with defeating the Iron Horde.

Now, Urganosh craves more. He craves adventure. He craves a freedom to see more and do more, though he firmly believes his actions should be done in the best interests of the Horde.

Hey there!

Welcome to the forum, first of all!
Your application seems to be in fine order to me, good grasp of the lore and timeline (even though all those timelines are wonky at best, thank you blizz.)
The next step would be your IC interview, which is basically just a talk ICly with someone of the tribe to get your orc introduced and joined in the ranks if he so wishes already as newblood.
Right now the tribe is lost in the snowy wastes of Stormpeaks however for this week still, but if you wish to arrange something to be found somewhere or fit it in, I'd advise you to whisper Gridish and see what you two can come up with.
If you don't want that, or don't mind waiting for a little week, by next week tuesday we'll be situated in K3, a more reachable place ICly. Just let us know here what you'd prefer and we'll manage something!

Hey there! Thanks for the reply! Sorry for my inactivity, my college work combined with my job around Christmas time make for a very busy schedule, so I haven't had time to do much. I haven't been able to catch Gridish at all when I have been online though, are you sure that's the right name? Or is it more likely I'm simply not on when he is on and vice versa?
Thanks again!

Hello Urganosh,

As you, I've been also juggling between work, college, event planning and homework, so it is quite possible you haven't seen me online. The name is correct however. As for the schedule. On the 8th(This Tuesday) we'll be traveling to K3 (Storm Peaks). This is probably the best moment for you to join up with us. If you can't on that date however, then have no fear. We'll be there until the 13th, to which we'll travel to Conquest Hold (Grizzly Hills).

I'm sorry that you've been missing me and hope to see you soon.
