Only worthy space faring species are eldar and asari.
And they call me insane? I am the most sane person around!

Bamm

A Norse space dragon firing asari shooting eredar lasers.

Well, eldar atleast have understood that everything doesn't need to be all grey and dull.
And they call me insane? I am the most sane person around!

Regorn

witch is kinda funny because Eldar must live a "grey and dull" life not to get their souls sucked out of them.

Srelok

Eldar are only good for getting gutted beneath the shadow of great wings. (aka The Raven is coming for you. ;) )

"If you could pour pain into a mold of an orc and then cut off its foot to piss it off, you’d get Srelok." Gulrok Ragehowl

Umaua

As far as I have understood, not grey and dull life, but strict and devoted life. Keeping their focus on the task and devoting their mind to it.
And they call me insane? I am the most sane person around!

Regorn

Dull as in "Not much of anything at all" and grey as in "Do only your path, nothing else".

Walk the path of a gardener? Better grow those roses son, you can't do anything else.

Or walk the path of an artisan and paint the rest of the dudes. With colors! Your path being making everyone else more colorful.

So...sure. Individually they are onesided, but that's what society is about...meaning, it's not just about you! Working together! Everyone having a place!

And rainbow colors!
And they call me insane? I am the most sane person around!

Regorn

Working together... yea, so everyone can take a really long time to die so we can form a new Warp God of Death.

Yay!

I am sure that even the most dedicated artist would get bored after 150 years

Well doh...thats why they change paths.

They might start as an artisan. Then change to a warriors path. Then change to a different warrior path.

Regorn

Then there is the issue if you can't leave the path.

Stuck forever baking bread while you descend to insanity.

I disagree. And why I disagree is because...
"After the Fall of the Eldar those Eldar who had managed to save themselves upon the Craftworlds underwent a complete social reform. Their lives would no longer spent in pursuit of their wishes, pleasures, and wanton natures. This had led to the Fall, and the creation of Slaanesh. Instead each individual Eldar chooses for himself a discipline, a Path, and will focus himself upon it. This path will be studied, practiced, and eventually mastered. Then the Eldar chooses a new path and the process will begin anew."

Source being http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Eldar_Path but also here http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Eldar_Path

And their sources are in Eldar sourcebook.

This meaning that as the live so long and their societies are highly ordered, they -will- be changing a path. That being the only way to avoid slaanesh..as there isn't much to study if you master something.

Quote"The Path of the Warrior's members are the Aspect Warriors. Those who lose themselves upon this path become Exarchs."
Source: Your source

Eldar can be lost on their path, those who walk the warriors path are called Exarchs, they become so attuned to their path that they can't get their original personality back.

Also, Eldar have a path of grief, because they aren't allowed to grieve, that's wack.
"Names does not matter, only who you are" - An old Friend from past, Thar'grash Thunderfury

Umaua

True, but getting lost in a path means you don't even think of something else which means you don't really mind the path. So...making bread becomes your life. If the personality is making bread, what would make most sense than making bread?
