All I'm gonna say:

(Thank Sadok for linking that to me, you just made my day.)
"For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack."

Srelok

Hurr... XD

"Improved transmogrification system" that piqued my interest...

"If you could pour pain into a mold of an orc and then cut off its foot to piss it off, you’d get Srelok." Gulrok Ragehowl

I agree that making us sound like epic awesome heroes is a bit.. meh, but overall I don't mind because what I do while questing/pve/pvp isn't IC so. :D All in all I think the artifact system sounds cool, it's an additional progression path and that's always nice. It does seem like a revamped version of Path of the Titans that was supposed to be in Wotlk? Sure it seems wierd in a way that we're going to run around with these legendary weapons, but like Grek said maybe it's just replicas or look-alikes? *shrug*

Like Srelok said I think it's very nice that Nelf lore is getting expanded on, as well as druid lore. Also really like that we're getting more lore/information on the Vrykul, Valkyr, Emerald Dream and Neltarion. :D Lots of different lore for this expansion imo, which is more than can be said about WoD.

I agree 100% with Sadok also, that in this expansion the lack of fun endgame kind of killed the enjoyment for me. D: I play MMOs to do various stuff, PvP, RP, PvE etc. If too many of those aspects are dull, I'll lose interest. So far in WoD there's only really been RP for me. PvP has been dull most of the time except when doing guild BGs or BGs with friends, PvE has been dull.. so I lost interest fairly quickly and/or often. This is mostly because everything is sooo grindy and based around mob-farming.. (*cough* reputation *cough*)I prefer the millions of MoP dailies over this tbh. xD I was super hyped and excited for WoD, and while the questing/lore while leveling up was awesome.. that was it, really. I hope Legion will be more fun (especially at max level) so I don't feel like quitting every 2 months. >.>

Agree 100% with Gashuk too.. so much whining over Legion when it's what everyone has been wanting for so long "pls gief legion expansion!" every year. xD And it -does- seem like the most logical next step, yes, for several reasons:

1. Blizzard have been saying since MoP that from then and onwards, the end of each expansion would lead into the next one.. this one ended with legion stuff soo... yeah. xD
2. During the Legendary questchain in MoP, Wrathion predicted a Legion invasion that would be bigger than we'd ever seen.. so why are people still surprised about this expansion? :P Interestingly enough, I even read a forum post a while back, where some guy had found a lot of hints in most of the expansions, suggesting that there are hints in each expansion about what is going to come in the expansion coming after the next one; Like in Vanilla, there was apparently some hints at Wotlk, in TBC there were hits at Cata, etc. With that in mind; Wrathion predicting Legion invasion in MoP makes sense.

And like most people have said already, I think the new PvP system looks interesting. It will (hopefully) mean more balance in PvP since they can keep PvP and PvE more separated, and the PvP only talents might actually be fun and interesting to use. And there's the Demon Hunters and the Broken Isles ofc, stuff I have been waiting for since Vanilla. xD Totally gonna roll a DH, and it might end up being my new main (Sorry Vez D:). As for the improved Transmog system Srelok mentioned; Blizzard already said in the 2014 Blizzcon that they want to make the transmog system more like the D3 one, where you "learn" an item's apperance, so you don't have to keep the item to transmog it. They also said a few months later in another interview that they'd still like to do that.. so I'm guessing this means it's finally coming now with Legion.

TLDR; I am very excited about Legion. \o/

Still are 'hunters' should be happy, survival going a lil bit melee. Return of le raptor strike?

Rashka

It's not replicas of the weapon if I listened right; you go -find- the weapon. What happens from then on I don't know; but atleast the Lightbringer I expect to be the actual weapon.

You're right, it's the canonical Ashbringer, the canonical Doomhammer, DK weapons forged from the canonical Frostmourne, etc.

From the MMO Champ recap:
"Retribution Paladins will be returning to the Broken Shore to look for Ashbringer where it fell in battle and was lost so that you can wield it."
"Protection Warriors will follow up on the legends of ancient Vrykul king that was buried with a sword and shield forged from the scales of the dragon Neltharion. You delve into his tomb and overcome the ancient curses that lay there in order to wield those weapons for yourself."
"Frost Death Knights will seek out Frostmourne's shards in Icecrown Citadel and reforge them into a pair of rune blades."

Replicas may end up being a way for some RPers to justify it in their headcanon, but in the actual story of Legion, it's made clear that the player-character hero is wielding these actual weapons.

Lars

More story creation issues  that just DOES NOT work in an MMO.
Every player character can't be THE SAME character storywise. A smart MMO story makes allowance for there being tons of champions. Not one champion that has multiple clones.

But... I'll stop whining about bad, stupid, and unimmersive mmo writing.

Curious what they'll say during blizzcon now.

Wish it was BM that got the melee though, but oh well. It's a dream come true! \o/

I am very happy that I get to keep my ranged position as a BM, thank you very much. :P

Haha! I love the guy a few posts down quoting him going "LOL sounds legit." being all sarcastic and clearly since release, he has changed his name to L E G I O N and his signature to the title image! What a tool!

Wornag (Kronnor)

What do you guys think of Illidan in this new expansion: friend or foe?
We might fight him for some time, but I think he will turn his weapons against the Legion, helping us. Many see him as a misunderstood hero that sacrificed everything to fight against the Legion, so we might see him "redeem" himself. I really do hope so.

Umaua

Thats the part I like about Illidan. He is not clearly on anyone's side and go either way.
And they call me insane? I am the most sane person around!

Groshnok

Well, considering how much Blizzard just LOVE redemption stories, even shoehorining in one to the end of WoD (even though Grom is responsible for massacring thousands of the populations who saved him) I'm sure Metzen has a "fantastic" redemption story in store.
