Trust.

It seemed to be the byword for this entire Tribe. The brown-skinned orc looked out over the ramshackle wooden city that the goblins had constructed, watching from the hills nearby as its inhabitants scurried around like so many ants. Todays lesson on the demons they were to face... the orcs trusted that warlock to not betray them... She wasn't sure why she had gone along with it either... but she looked back on it, and thought of this impossible task that Throatrender had set for her.

"Trust..." muttered Shas'rosan before she growled and then sighed. "How the fel do I get trust? Let alone from three orcs?" she asked of the air, her Rylak busy chewing away on some kind of shark or something that it had fished out of this strange world's seas. She had considered briefly asking the Thur'ruk for her advice... but doubted that the orcess would even aid her in this task, let alone be able to after the demon lesson tonight. She had been trying to follow that Shattered Hand orcs advice, playing nicely with these green-skins, doing as she was told... but it felt like she was making no progress whatsoever.

She looked up at the strange stars and sky, growling before slamming her fist into the hillside. "Why'd I even come here eh?!" she half-yelled, before slamming her fist once more. "Because they were winning?! Because we were fracturing?!" she snarled before drawing one of her axes, its weight a familiar presence in her grip. "These orcs... this world... it's... it's too strange, too different... they talk of the same clans, the same orcs... and this... time-travel talk..." she growled before slamming the blade into the earth, snarling. "The way they speak to me... How I want to just shove my axes into their damned skulls! Every single damn time they insult me... belittle me... all because of the damn war..." Shas'rosan let out a small roar before catching herself and taking a slow breath.

"Control yourself Ironwing... lose your temper with this lot and they'll just gut you... Don't give them the damned satisfaction..." she growled to herself before she looked out once more. "...This world... these orcs... how do I gain their trust?" she asked of nobody. She looked once more to her axe buried in the earth. "...There was no trust in the Iron Horde... only obey and live... Do your job and you lived... that's how it was... least for those without a Clan to protect them..." she said before removing it and cleaning the dirt from its edge. "How am I supposed to gain any orc's trust... when I don't even know what trust is?" she asked of the air before she sighed and sheathed her axe once more.

"Doubt Throatrender'd be any help... bitch hates my guts as if I'd gutted her firstborn in front of her... Bet she gave me this task just to see me damn well fail..." she grumbled, her Rylak plodding over and poking her with its left muzzle. She gave it a rough pat before looking down into the city once more. "...Maybe if I throw myself into the fight in Tanaan... show them the passages and all that... kill enough of Gul'dan's things... would that get their trust?" she asked, her Rylak only poking her again in response. "Aye aye... enough moping. Damned well think I was turning into some kind of bloody Draenei or somethin'..." said the brown skinned orc before she stood up and looked down at the Tribe within the city.

Trust... somehow, she'd get it... somehow, she'd prove it... and then she'd finally get her hands on that bastard back on Draenor... vengeance will come... her bond was as iron... even to the dead.

Grogok

Great story...she got her hands full :P

She looked at the bone chip in her hand, a puzzled look on her face. "For keeping a cool head and following orders he said." she muttered to herself. She chuckled a little before she pocketed it. "Cool head... you'd be laughing your arse off if you heard that eh?" she asked of the air as she looked up at the strange sky of this Azeroth once more. She was starting to think she might be Shadowmoon with how much time she looked up at these damned skies, but for some reason it strangely enough relaxed her... despite their alien appearance. It did feel strange though to not see the large orbs hanging over head, just two pale white moons.

The orcess shook her head and returned to the world around her. "One down, two to go." she said softly as she thought about the Mark. It would appear that she didn't have to perform the impossible for Throatrender after all... if she could accumulate three marks through the other orcs... then she could find herself amongst this Tribe proper. The rumours about Tanaan however troubled her deeply. Hellscream had seemed so adamant against the Fel magic of the demons and warlocks... She shook her head. Rumours were rumours after all... she couldn't believe that the Iron Horde would turn to the magics they had refused since the very start, not so easily...

((Haha good try, though Kyra will still have to approve of that mark! :P ))
