Fox

Name: IC & OOC, Fox

Class: Hunter,

Level: 100

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:

I've been RPing for around five or so years, I've had characters withing the second gurubashi empire, stormwind regiment, (briefly) natures grasp, the forlorn cartel and a few other guilds which I've loved my time in, I've been alliance for a couple of years now though I started out as a horde in a guild named the Sin'dorei comission, (since changed to the Crimson imperium before leaving the server).

I find great enjoyment in roleplay and getting involved in the communities in which it produces within the game, I have an understanding of what god-emoting is, power-emoting etc, and wouldn't bring these things into any roleplay experience, my knowledge on orcish lore is a little limited, though I'd like to consider my lore knowledge as a whole is quite alright  :)

Aand to finish it off, about the character!

Fox is a young huntress, she is a stubborn woman, perhaps a little too stubborn at time, she's always ready to fight for what she believes is right and is fiercely loyal. Fox grew up with her mother within the wilderness in hillsbrad before travelling a little with a small band of orcs and humans, unfortunately, not quite by choice, her mother and most of the orcs were once imprisoned within an interment camp in Durnholde, when things started to crash and burn.. her mother found herself being dragged away with a handful of guards, it wasn't long after that she gave birth.. she wasn't given the right of naming her child, the humans instead took this upon themselves.

Fox soon grew to hate humans and the manner in which they treated the orcs she thought so dearly  of, she considered herself to have the skill to at least flee, if not fight.. however, she refused to leave her sickly mother's side, unfortunately, she did not last a great deal longer, when Fox found herself grieving her mother she took the chance to fuel that anger, that determination into escape.. regretfully, she left her orcish brethren with the humans, having escaped utterly alone, It is something she regrets to this day.

Fox feels that she missed out on knowledge of her heritage and culture, although her mother tried to teach her as much as she could.. there's only so much you can learn through stories! she found herself longing to find out just -what- and -who- she is, when she'd heard rumours of the red blades, her curiosity spiked, she is now set out to find, and hopefully join them.

(I understand my lore isn't the best with this stuff, so if there's anything anybody feels is incorrect or should be changed, I'll happily adjust it   :) )

And a little drawing for character reference
Spoiler: show

Hello Fox!

Welcome to our forum!
With the story itself nothing much is wrong, though one part I have a small question about. You said her mother gave birth in the internment camps, but wasn't allowed to name the child. I assume this is about a brother or sister, then? :) (Just to clear it up for myself.) Seeing 'Fox' does not so much sound Orcish as such (which isn't a real problem) but if you were talking about Fox as being that child, the story doesn't add up, since you mentioned she grew up with her mother in the wilds, and not in the internment camps, where her mother died, as I understand it right now.

Furthermore, you might want to think about what Fox did in the meantime, seeing the internment camps are looong ago (About 17 years in our timeline). A lot happened in that time, like the burning crusade, all the other expansions and recently of course the re-opening of the portal which could've had a big influence on any character.
We're right now in Gorgrond, consider your application approved if you keep those things in mind, because they might be asked about during your IC interview!
Just poke one of our officers when you have the chance, and we can get it rolling. Officers being: me, Therak, Sadok, Kozgugore and Gridish!

Hope to see you soon ingame!

PS: Lovely drawing, really great to see the effort you put into it as an extra for the app! :D

Hey ^^ Fox wasn't apart of the actual internment camps due to being too young, her mother gave birth to her after being brought away from Durnholde with the humans, they travelled around for years after Durnholde into Fox's adolescence or so before Fox escaped, she spent the years after with the horde and a trollish friend :)

The child which was named by the humans was Fox, I'd be open for her taking another name or so after joining? Just for the time being this is the only name she has known, I'll be in touch shortly! Thank you very much

Rhonya

It's fine, the name is not a problem, it was then the order in which you wrote your story that confused me, seeing I read it as Fox growing up with her mother and then being imprisoned, after which her mother died and she escaped.
But it's still a proper story as such, as long as you keep in mind the things I mentioned about the years afterwards! And we don't have many half orcs (seeing I assume her father is a human then, as all the campguards were.) , just keep in mind as well that some orcs might not react too nicely ICly if they find out!
