Magra Emberheart

Name: Magrahra

Class: Shaman

Level: 90

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
I've been roleplaying since I was abooooout 14, firstly on forums, then with messenger systems too, eventually to WoW.
I've roleplayed on WoW on different servers for a number of years, both alliance and horde. I took a long break and fancy some roleplay again so thought I would re-new WoW!

I am looking for a place where I could focus on a character for some roleplay in the spare time I have.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:

(( I have gone for a story to how she comes to the conclusion she must find the red blades, leaving her to be able to speak about her past Icly, hope that's okay! Also sorry if mistakes in the picture, was an enhanced sketch so bits might change or whatever, plus first orc! ))

"...Let us never forget the lessons that were learned in the siege of Orgrimmar.

Apart, we will fall. Together, we are Horde."

The message that had been inscribed upon the plague at the entrance to the Cleft in the city had made her stop.
She had only just escaped in the siege, with what felt like a handful of others she had escaped the city before it was locked down for defense. Upon returning, many of those she knew were gone or missing.
The city didn't even have time to mourn before the next threat had made itself known.

Tales of a "new" horde, the "Iron Horde" as they were being called, had made their presence known in the ravaged territory named Blasted Lands. Damned lands, where the Dark Portal still lingered ominously.
From there, it seems this Iron Horde has made its entrance and with a deafening roar. Word had reached the city of the devastation they had already called, both the Alliance and the Horde strongholds had been massacred.
All warriors had been called to arms, she had fought in the past but she was not named warrior. So she had stayed, aided with the city. There had been a large call for menders when the city was freed from the tight shackles of Garrosh.

Casting a glance down to the darkness of the cleft, guilt clutched at her heart.
Had she stayed here to aid, or had she just convinced herself of that? Despite the hardships she and so many others had faced, had she become afraid?

No. Not her.
...
She frowned in that small pause of thought, angry with herself. She knew the answer. Like others she had hoped to find somewhere safe, to ignore the madness and the fury of the world and to try to settle for once.
That had been her mothers dream. Not her own.
She moved a hand up over her scar that marked the left side of her face. When did she become so passive? When had she let her fires turn to embers?
Damn it mother. You and that water. You have made me far to passive!

Bah, that wasn't true, it was her own fault. She had no doubt her mother would answer in a lecture involving teachings and going on about how water can be just as furious as fire.
She smirked at the thought before it vanished, focus - she scolded herself.

Exhaling sharply, she peered to the memorial template again, the light from the brazier flickering across the words.

"Apart, we will fall. Together, we are Horde."

She had heard other whispers when mending soldiers. Orcs had risen up, joining with others of the Horde in order to fight this new threat. Soldiers were needed, but so were others...

Magrahra turned sharply and began her accent to the city, it would be some days travel likely. But her mind was set and her heart began to break free of her guilt.

It was time to fight... Soldier or not.

What a lovely, little introduction! And that for a very first orc to boot! I daresay you've shown to know quite enough about orcs and the recent history as it is, so you needn't worry about getting too used to the green, orcy life in due time. Looks like you might blend right in with some interesting shaman RP like that! The fact that you've gone through the effort to write all this down, -plus- made a portrait of your new character (an absolutely stunning one, mind you. That alone is hugely impressive!), pretty much shows to me how far you'd be willing to go to put some details into your character. I'd take a lack of IC background in the application for granted for all of that, because it certainly seems your character will be interesting enough to talk to about such things in-game instead anyway. ;D

So without further ado, go on ahead and poke any of our officers in-game for your IC interview whenever it best suits you! Active officers right now would be myself, Rargnasha, Rhonya, Sadok and Therak. Good luck, and see you in-game!

:o Goodness, you're too kind! haha, you have me all embarrassed!

I hope I love up to the words now lol.
Rhonya was very kind enough to help me with answering my always prodding questions, poor woman has had to put up with me since I am not fully up to speed on the lore.
I'm up for learning though!

Thank you for the lovely compliments! I shall have to poke on Sunday or Monday due to work. Hope that's okay!

Kozgugore

Not to worry, we're pretty lenient when it comes to giving applicants time to jump to action following their application, so whenever it works best for you, you're welcome to give us a little poke! And try not to worry about the pressure - I'm sure you'll do just fine! We keep a fair amount of crazy orcs with us, so as long as you don't turn out to be a psychopath or the like in practice, I think you can get along just fine with the rest of our little gang. ;D (and even if you -are- a psychopath, I'm sure Rhonya can help you with that too. Or as I like to call her, our friendly neighbourhood tribe psychiatrist ;))
