New Blood Progression

Hi there

I have been a member of the Red Blade now for a long time but took a long break from the game and have recently returned to playing. I have noticed that all the guild RP events take place in the evenings. I am unable to attend any of the planned guild events as they take place at a time I am unable to play the game, so does this mean that my progression within the guild ranks and RP experience in the game is unable to progress?

Would it be more beneficial to me to find a guild that operates more events around the times I can play? I am new to roleplaying myself in World of Warcraft and don't feel comfortable with running my own events as I'm still learning how to roleplay etc and don't want to make any mistakes.

Unfortunately in my experience, 90% of events that RP guilds do schedule tend to be in the evenings around the 20:00/21:00 serve time mark due to that being in theory when most people would be online and able to attend cus of college, work, etc etc.

However, I don't think this would be stifling to your progression. Are you more of a morning afternoon player and work evenings or something? Depending on what days and times you are available, I think we have some people who would probably be on at the same time.

For instance myself, I'm (in theory IRL and all that interference) online most of Monday/Tuesday assuming I'm not trying to do some video work, as well as Wednesday/Thursday after 17:00/18:00 server time, depending on trains.

I think I recall seeing others online around these times as well, but can't speak for these people myself.

I feel like I'm the only sane one in this Tribe. And I have four elementals living in my skull!

You're quite right to voice some concern about this matter, since it's very understandable to be worried about it if you're unable to attend any of the planned events. I'll be honest, there's a fair chance you'll miss out on most RP and events, since the great majority of it tends to take place in the evenings, but if you can manage to find a tutor or other fellow RPers who still like to RP during the day, it's still very much possible to get your New Blood progression finished outside of the busy roleplaying hours.

The only problem might be the promotion itself, since those tend to be done during tribe meetings in the evening as well, but perhaps there can be a way to work around that little issue if you do plan to stick around long enough!
