Well, found this band scouting through the internets the other day called Minibosses who turns game music into metal stuffs >>

Their latest album is free from their site http://www.minibosses.com/

can't download them from firefox for some reason though so you'll newed explorer or something to "save target as.." the songs.

Anyway.

Topic is: what game do you love the music from most?

Mine would probably be from The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past. the dark world theme >:)

That site seems quite amusing. Reminds me of this orchestra that goes around the globe playing video game music in theatres. I forgot their name right now, unfortunately.

I'm a huge fan of game music. Therefore, it's really hard for me to only pick out a few. Among some of my favourites, though, there's Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Warhammer Dawn of War 2 and Assassin's Creed 2. Not necessarily games that are well-known for their music, but to me, it really adds a plus to the atmosphere.

I respond to Sakareth and Azuril too.

Though there's a lot of game music out there I like, the Suikoden series always made music that I truly loved. It's hard to pick just one song, but among my absolute favorites would be

Reminiscence - YouTubeLink
Days Past - YouTubeLink

I actually considered them both for my wedding waltz heh. Truth to be told, I love all the music from Suikoden I and II, amazing games, amazing music score. Simply amazing...

((totally unrelated: For the record, this is what I have chosen for my wedding waltz Walts for ZiZi - YouTubeLink, music by Yoko Kanno for Cowboy Bebop))
