Personally I'm trying to make a big push to gather the hunters of the guild under a single tutor. I have quite a few ideas for this, being training of tracking and hunting down animals, trap laying, along with prober scout training etc. Of course non-hunters are welcome to come along on our outings, ranged weapon required!

I hope you have more luck then others who have tried to do this sort of thing Vraagar including myself for some reason it works for a few outings then dies a slow horrible death.
It has the ring of factions again which never got of the ground much to my and maybe Koz's disapointment.
May be it is time to look at this again though now there are so many diffrent faces in the tribe.

Rank specific events

I have been recently pondering that there aren’t any real rank-specific events in our lovely little tribe. In my opinion, it would be of added value that orcs of certain ranks can attend such events for two reasons. Firstly, rank-specific event can contribute to the bonding of orcs of a specific rank â€" and right now, I think there has been a lack of that. I don’t think a lot of orcs make a REAL distinction between ranks; to whom they can better relate to. Secondly, rank-related events would hopefully provide more orcs with an incentive to strive for a promotion, and consecutively keep activity up to its current level.

What I am suggesting is mainly directed at the Nag Ogar rank, mind you â€" though this does not mean you aren’t free to make your own suggestions regarding different ranks. At any rate, I have a few proposals I want to share with you all. Starting with Nag Ogar training. We’re supposed to be the warrior caste, but strangely, I don’t get the impression being Nag Ogar is of any real added value in battle. I think this would change if the Nag Ogar had their own training sessions in which they would develop some deeper, more complex strategies in contrast to the other ranks â€" obviously lead by the Rrosh-Tul, which I consider as some kind of warrior caste leader in this case. And, truth be told, you need a single concentration of authority to let something as a training go smoothly, since orcs just aren't fond of being barked at by their peers.

Another idea for an event I have is regular nights of boasting, telling each other tales of past battles with booze flowing richly and food aplenty. Think of it as a banquet in Medieval times, in the great hall of a king, where the knights would gather and boast to each other and tell tales and sing and laugh and drink together â€" but obviously with a twist to make it fit for orcs. Everybody would have to take turn in either making a boast or telling a tale, or heck, even singing a battle song; something different than another PvP-based event, but still doing honor to the rank’s nature. In contrast to the beforementioned event, this is more of an event where everybody can just sit down together as equals.

This is basically what I have thought of so far. You are obviously very much welcome to post your own suggestions â€" for this rank or another â€" and to give feedback.
