This is me testing the shoutbox, because shouting is a great stress relief and it would be a shame if it doesn't work.

...when I set forth and bore you all with something random I decided to play and record when I finish work. (read 2 am)

Anyhoo, as it was my birthday, I treated myself to some new equipment, so I jammed a bit, then knuckled down and did a little recording. I played this like 2 years ago, and uploaded it for all to endure, so for nostalgia and love, here's a new version!

I respond to Sakareth and Azuril too.

Ugluhk

Gratz Mate! And a great song! really love it! Only that I can't open the new version... but meh... The old one is still great!

Nice Az you have been putting some time in on the strings big diffrance from when you first started out.
And yes playing clean is a lot lot better can't hide the mistakes so easy.  ;)
Who done the bass line for you ?
If it came from the same guitar iI would love to know what guitar it is, sounds real nice rich and deep.

All played on one guitar. One pass. Used a Gibson Explorer running through a Preamp moddled after a 1965 Fender Twin Reverb. Detuned a llittle to get a deeper sound. Thankyou for you kind comments.
I respond to Sakareth and Azuril too.

Thanks for the info.
The first giutar Edge used on stage / recorded with and still uses today.
(Bit of usless info there).
1983 =  £8,500.
How old is yours.
I tried to play one once but could not get use to the closeness of the pick ups to the top of the body but if remember right it had a nice balance to it dispite its shape.
Nice sound Az.

I use a Korg AX3000g signal processor (Or rather i try to) and have tried to get a similar sound but no go so far, but now i know your set up i might get it at last  :) :) .

I use a Ibanez Jem as main but have a fair collection of 6 Guitars not played with them for a long time now before the days of WOW to keep me entertained. ::)

Would love to get hold of a Erine Bell Music man as used by my Hero Steve Morse.
His fast, shredded arpeggios are just out of this world.
Voted "Best Overall Guitarist" by Guitar Player magazine for five years in a row only one other to do it was Steve Howe of old Yes fame.
Bah got me rabbiting on a bit now sorry. :-X

Perhaps we should open a new thread here for music  ;D

Mines a 76 Reissue, so I guess it's probably less than a year old. I've always loved the Explorer's shape and the big heavy body gives a nice sustaining voice.

The Signal Processor is a Line6 X3 Live. I can even upload the exact "patch" too, so if you had one, you can plug it right it and go, which is cool.

And  JEM... Vai fan huh? :)
I respond to Sakareth and Azuril too.

Using a cheap 104 euro strat into a Line6 toneport GTX into the computer. Hopefully getting a Hagström Super Swede in christmas.

The coil splitter it has is a nice feature, but I have to wonder what kind of music you're playing. For some reason, I always thought you were into playing Metal, in which case, a guitar with a Coil splitter seems an odd choice :P
