Attention, any and all orcs!

We orcs are a difficult race to understand. Even the wisest lorekeeper can tell you such. We strive for progression, having made our home in unknown, distant lands and forming new alliances. But despite that, we long for the old days as well. We seek to maintain our old traditions. And most of all, we strive to honour the glorious dead.

Much has happened since we set foot upon this world we now call Azeroth. During all these wars, many traditions have been forgotten and forsaken. But now, with our new home and land to safeguard and maintain, we of the Red Blade tribe have already made the first few steps to help the orcs of the Horde rediscover their old heritage. Not only have we been digging into ancient Red Blade clan lore, we also introduced the old tradition of the Om'riggors. There is yet another tradition that is of great importance to the orcish race, however. The Kosh'harg celebrations.

Perhaps some of you orcs already witnessed last year's celebrations. For those of you who did not, the celebrations are held when the Pale Lady and the sun touch the sky for the same amount of time, which only happens two times each year. It is on this day that every traditional orcish clan would meet in the shadow of our sacred Mountain of Spirits in Nagrand and share tales, drinks, food, games, goods and simple talks. One of these days is now upon us, at the 22nd day of the month.

Now is the time to pay homage to the traditions of your ancestors, orcs! I hereby invite any and all orcs to join our voyage to Oshu'gun to celebrate this ancient tradition. Let us reunite all orcs as they did in the days of old, and share each other's joys and sorrows on the world that was once so dear to us as Durotar is to us now. No matter what kind of orc you are or what clan you hail from, all orcs are welcome and free to join us on the 22nd day of this month at Garadar, at which we shall move out to Oshu'gun at the sounding of the eighth horn.

For the Blood of the Tribe!

Garadar, Nagrand

Feel free to bring orcish friends! This is supposed to be a big event, not your average cup of tea at the campfire! ))

(( We'll be making sure this is taking place on a lowbie-friendly zone. Though we may have to keep an eye out every now and then for any incoming mobs, cause they're known to have a very spread-out roaming area out there.

On a different note, this event has been moved to Monday the 22nd, the official date. Originally thought Sunday would suit more people, but seems it was unecessary. ))

((Expect me! And I can get my warlock to get a bunch of shards and help summons to Garadar or Shattrath City, pick one ;) ))

(( On another different note, it'd be VERY nice if some orcs would be willing to pull something off for this event itself. This is supposed to be a grand, important festival for orcs (hence I'm also planning to promote it outside of our own forums, as you might've noticed from the way I wrote the original post), and I know how dull it can be if only Koz ends up being the one holding speeches and all. So it'd be great if some orcs would be willing to step up and just do a thing or two for this event - be it a story, game, services, drinks and food, mini-event, speech, anything will do! Be creative, and feel free to contact me if you need help or ideas.

In any case, let me know if you've anything planned. Would be good to know how many orcs we will have doing something, so that I will not take all of the time myself.

It'd be nice to see some orcs do something at an event as important as this one. So, don't be shy and feel free to let yourself be heard! Or you'll get to listen to old Koz's rambling all night! *Cacklez* ))

(( If I had been Ugleh again, I would have told some phatass story about old orcish heroes and Akesha and stuff... or something that is about Draneor...but now I really don't know what to do... I'll think about some Shamanistic ritual until tomorrow, but I haven't said anything yet!
