Shaman roleplay in the tribe

Alright, because of the discussion in redorc :) I decided to make a topic out of it so we can recheck things others have said.

Now what I see is that everyone always goes to 1 specific shaman and that every shaman has other ways to treat and such.

Now what about the shamans make a channel to discuss ic shaman stuff of how to treat that or, how you do that ritual (depending on what element you practise else it gets boring as every ritual looks the same with every shaman)
Just a channel to make deals on shaman stuff :)

Because orcs are green..Doesn't mean they can do photosynthesis..Or can they?

Tbh, shamans can be played anyway the player wish to. As in any RP there is hardly any right or wrong in how you play your character, or how his/her vision is on his own way of life.

As with all classes, different people play them, and different people(luckily) = different points of view.

I say we have a Tribal "master" shaman which take care of most event rituals, with the help of the other shamans ofc. But every orcs is free to go to the other shamans in other matters or waanting them specially for some event.

And every shaman should also call upon the spirits/ancestors diffrently. I improvise every time I do it.

well, a shaman can't really RP that he uses the light to fight, or the dea'mons or whatever, he/she must use the spirits/ancestors. Fact.

Maybe the Shamans of the Tribe should have their own meeting to discuss the spiritual matters and direction of Tribe sometime soon. The diversity in Shaman should be relished, but Greggar does have a point, much can be gained for RP if we dig a little bit deeper into the spiritual side of things.

Oh, agreed without a doubt. Suppose I misread something, but I read something about discussing HOW you play your shaman. I mean, of course there are lines to stick to ( Obviously .*bonks Ugly* ) , but you can never tell anybody how to play they char, imho.

Sure, some powerplay it too much, take it too far over the line, and then it's fine to jump in, and give some pointers.
But otherwise, people should RP as they wish.

Taking it IC and make up some far seer meeting sounds like an awesome idea, I recall Dogar and Vargie having those in past..?
Even if it just discussing disturbance in the spirits (read: the force) , or whatever, seems like a nice bridge for some RP amoungst people who might not get the chance to RP together that often.

Anyway, Imma end this rant and go walk teh dawg before she eats my face, cause I have been neglecting her a bit today, been busy with packing, and stuffses!
