Gor

(The OOC bit)
Name: Gorrahk.
Class: Shaman. (Enhancements, to be precise.)
Level: 60 at the moment, still going up.

Where to start with the roleplaying experience.. I think it was around the time of Burning Crusade that I'd first started roleplaying bits and pieces.
Started out in a small, close-knit roleplaying guild, then eventually as it went away, I'd been poked to join the Marauders, and so I did.
Must say I really had a good time during Wrath, was fully active during that period, and as time went on my interest faded little by little, eventually quitting alltogether and then coming back again.
As for lore, I'd have to dig it all up again and refresh my memory, but most of the Roleplaying I did was on my Orc and on.. *shudders* me elfie! Brox dammit.
All fun and jokes aside. I'd heard bits and pieces about the OotRB, and since Orcs rule, I'd thought to give it a go and try an application with you.

The IC bit.

Hrm.. Suppose I'd better give a proper introduction then. Name's Gor Frosthowl, I'd be about.. *seems to be counting on his fingers* 32 years old right now?
Yeah, thirty-two. Was born into the Frostwolf clan, stayed with 'Chief Drek'thar near Alterac for the whole of the first two wars. Ventured with 'im, helping in the third war, sort of a lower-to-middle ranked 'elemental warrior', as I'd describe myself. I'd inquire the elements to help me, and in return I may smite my enemies with wind-enhanced strikes.. as such. Was sort of a mercenary the years following that, until the Dark Portal reopened. Played a minor role by carrying damn boxes around, every single day, in Thrallmar, so let's not get into that.
By the time the events of the Sunwell.. or the well of eternity or.. Whatever well, has passed, I went back towards Kalimdor and served as a guard in Razor Hill. Good time, at that, 'till the Lich King brought his armies around. I'd served as a operative under.. damn it. Some slack-jawed lad((Not Tirion)) within Icecrown. Bunch of righteous lot, I'll give ya that. Good people, nevertheless, but a little too much, if ya catch my drift.
So that stuff came to pass. The Cataclysm started, I'd fought a larger part but not noticeable enough anyways. I'd describe it as being a pebble amongst boulders. So that happened, Deathwing was slain, took a little time off, served as a bodyguard to some nobles for a while, not my line of work really. Bunch of puffed-up sticks-in-the-mud.
After that I'd returned, after a long journey, to Alterac, and finally made the decision to fight for my clan's honour.. I do say, I played a good role at that, but every time we'd push the dwarves back, they'd come back with more and we'd get pushed back. I'd seen a lot of our clan die, which angered me even more. After fighting the war for about a year, a few scars and one near-death experience later, the mists cleared up and Pandaria was discovered, to which I took up the oppertunity once more to travel and explore, and to contribute my little piece...
Apologies, I could rant on for hours. What brought me here, today, to you, is that I have wandered around long enough, fighting for honour, for my clan, for what reason and whatsoever. I'd heard stories about your clan. About how Githya Redblade's courage and Strength were to be admired. Mind, my grandfather lived around that time, and he told my father many things, which were then passed on to me. So I'd started digging, and the more I read, the more I felt that this might be the Clan I'd looked forward to join. Not that there's anything wrong with the Frostwolves. What is your answer?

(Hope the Application will suffice!)

Hello Gorrahk! I read through your application and I am quite pleased with what I've read. Now for your next step you'll need to complete the IC interview. The goal of the IC interview is for your character to establish contact with the tribe's members. Here is a list of orcs you can do your IC interview with: http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0 Just nudge any of these people and if they have time they'll be happy to help you! The tribe is in Desolation Hold until 8:30 tonight, then we're heading to Orgrimmar, so pop by! You can always RP with us even if your character isn't in the Red Blades!

Strength and Honor!
