Name: Barrox Blackblood
Class: Warrior
Level: 100

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
Hi there! Been Roleplaying for a few years now (5 years ). I started out on Alliance when I very first set foot on Azeroth and took it from there really, the Horde lore really interested me, especially Orcs! warriors of pride honour and brutality, I mean whats not to like! Anywho Im hoping to get involved with the Redblade again when the transfer is complete. I have an Orc in the guild at the moment named Gronaz, I was accepted around 2 years ago or so and started to level him but I grew distant from retail RP so he was kind of shelved I suppose! Im wanting to get back into the whole Orc tribe RP once more so instead of carrying on with Gronaz who I have fond memories of when the high blade was a mere pup! (Newblood) and my short amount of time I spent in the tribe, I shall be starting a new fresh character.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:

"Dark...Hours, days, weeks, months...who knows. The same rotten food met with the same harsh reception of metal gauntlet and verbal abuse seems as though it has been all I know, my past but a blur in these testing times. My so called bretheren of red skin my captors and I their new plaything, my wrists from the heavy cold shackles tear at my skin as the stale air makes it hard to catch your breath it feels as though all hope is lost...But Im an Orc of Pride, honour and my will will not be so easily broken. Another strike to the face, nothing but numbness as my body gets used to the thundering blows, I try to spit in defiance but the dry humid air and lack of nutrition makes the formation of saliva rare and I find myself merely making a almost gagging noise as I try to atleast notion what I am doing. When will this end, will it end? the mountains will fall, the spirits become bar tenders at grazgill's pit stop, Jaina become leader of the horde....these events will have to unfold before I give in to these pups!....when will it end...this is no way for a warrior to die."

Born fifteen years before the Dark Portal opened on Draenor to Azeroth, Barrox Blackblood retained the name after his father; Grax Blackblood. Many moons ago when the formation of clans on Draenor formed in its steep past there was once many clans that would eventually form the basis that would become the Blackrock clan, One of these clans retained its name for ancestral sake and pride, the Blackbloods. When the Orc's first invaded Azeroth Barroxs father Grax was a powerful warrior who was large in stature amoung his kin, his raw brute strength was a marvel to behold and was a typical stereotype of the Blackrock Orc in nature and politics. As the stem of battle took the worse for the Orcs Grax instead trying to hide his son of a young age instead told him to embrace his destiny, that this was his time to prove himself a true warrior. Barrox was but a mere pup in terms of battle experiance and was cast aside by human soliders in the last war that would end up being the breaking of the Horde, His father Grax instead of being taken prisoner, a warrior of fierce reputation would have non of the surrender the Humans enforced apon them, instead he galliantly challenged the entire immediate platoon and rushed them screaming his name for all to remember, he was eventually overwhelmed but not without casualties; slain dead as his son watched his great idol yet brutal tutor lifeless before him, Injured and too scared to fight back he was placed in an interment camp and housed there for a few years until Thrall gathered the remaining Orcs and fled for Orgrimmar. Toughened by his upbringing and hostile lands of Kalimdor Barrox Grew into a fierce warrior of his own. One of the few "veteran" Orcs left his battle experiance was well recognised and was drafted into the Ko'kron for a brief time. Politics of the changing of warchief played a hand in him leaving Orgrimmar for a time to gather himself. Involved in many events in Azeroth's timeline he now finds himself apon his homeland of Draenor once more, but in its past alternate version. Joining a clan Naming themselves the Blackjaw due to an old friends advice he quickly showed his prowess by challenging his friend in combat to "Test" their skills as individuals. His fierce style of fighting and experiance showing and was taken by the others of the clan more seriously and with more respect amoung the ranks, However one day on a patrol for the clan he was ambushed by an Iron Horde scouting party out of the blue and taken prisoner in hopes of beating intel out of him, battered and bruised he resides in his shackles, unwilling to divulge anything to this very moment...

(( I was hoping since this is the RP my character left off on, If I was accepted my character could be rescued or perhaps something along those lines to which he could interact with the Redblade this way, merely an idea as its something that would make sense and would work out perfect for an introduction to the Redblade clan. Getting ahead of myself again...))

Sadok

Hey there, Barrox! Thanks for applying, and you have the honor of being our first AD applicant! Pat yourself on the back.

As for the application itself, all looks fine to me. Your character seems to be an interesting one, and I reckon he'd fit right in! No lore or timeline issues, and everything else looks good.

Now for the slightly tricky part. The tribe are leaving Draenor for some shore-leave on Kalimdor in a week and a half, so we won't actually be on Draenor when we do the transfer on 9/6/15 -- though we should return within a month or so, certainly.

Given your unique position, I think there's two ways we can proceed with your introduction to the tribe:
1- Thanks to the magic of cross-realming, the tribe rescue you during one of our upcoming DB events. At that point, you could hang around as an unaffiliated member and get cross-realm invites for RP, before finally joining the tribe whenever we transfer to AD.
2- You wait until we do the transfer to AD before encountering us. This would be problematic with your current captivity plot though, since we wouldn't be on Draenor at the time.

Get back to me by posting a reply in this thread -- it doesn't necessarily have to be one of those two options, if you have a better idea.

But rest assured, you may consider this application approved.

Thanks for the swift response Sadok!

And thank you for accepting my application! I really like the idea of a rescue in an upcoming event, that sounds perfect! And it would allow me to atleast gain a foothold on my characters interaction with the tribe before becoming a fully fledged member on AD! I like that idea alot and Im glad to have such a proffessional response in regards to my characters situation! Im on tonight and most nights from 6-7 realm time onwards!

My RealID is Nappeh#2166 for the cross realm invites! looking forward to becoming a step closer to the tribe once more!

Interviewed and accepted by yours truly! Though we obviously haven't been able to give you the official guild invite yet, you're very welcome to consider yourself a part of our merry little band already. Just give any one of us a poke on realID if you ever get the urge to seek us out, and we will gladly invite you! For now however, welcome to the tribe!
