Magra Emberheart

Name: Magrahra Emberheart.
Alias: Emberheart. 'Mags'.
Rank: Gosh'kar

Age: Mid-late twenties.
Gender: Female
Race: Orc
Clan: Mother was Frostwolf.
Class: Shaman.
Alignment: Chaotic Good.

Family: None living anymore. Previously had a husband and son, both perished under different circumstances.
Known Friends: Srelok Grimtide, Kyrazha Throatrender, Sadok Sharptongue.
Known Enemies: None.

Appearance:
Mags stands far more confidently than she did when first joining the tribe.  She tends to don herself in robes and/or furs. Usually she wears a long wolf fur cloak, with the head as a helm. She carries a staff that is carved to look like a wolf snarling. Around it, beads, teeth and trinkets are wrapped around it. She too wears a few trinkets around her neck, crystals, beads and a necklace of teeth.
She stands at average height, with very long dark hair she has since half shaved, so that it falls over her head in a wave. Both ears are pierced several times, having golden hoops or bones through them for decoration. Her eyes are blue of colour and her skin is marked with a few scars (and at times scarifications), the most prominent being a large slash down across her left cheek and over her lips (though it has long since healed, it remains a notable mark upon her features).

Personality:
Mags at her heart is a kind soul. Always willing to aid those around her. She has a very curious nature, which can aid knowledge and be rewarding, can often lead her into trouble. While keen to help those around her, she often finds herself a little awkward in social situations. It can often be is difficult to break through her dutiful and somewhat shy exterior, however when she is relaxed, she enjoys joking around and can have a wicked sense of humour.
Mags can be very passionate in things, whether it's fighting, debating or her feelings. Often this can be troublesome when it comes to her anger.
She has recently become a bit more confident in herself, however old doubts seem to be trying to gnaw away at her.
History:
Magrahra was raised by her mother in a nomad mishmash tribe that traveled to escape capture. Her mother taught her the way of water and healing. Due to her mothers strong connection with the element of water, she was taught from a young age to fear fire, that it was a dangerous, corruptable thing. This of course, was highly misguided and a projection of her own mothers fears, however it took deep root.
The tribe was soon picked apart as more were pulled into the camps, including Magrahra's mother and herself. Her mother did well to protect her but her strength soon dwindled and she passed away.
Mags was still very young when the camps were freed. She was lost and alone so followed the rest of those who were lost. The Horde followed Thrall and so did she, his teachings soon spreading through the orcs of the old shamanistic ways.
Years past and she found home in Orgrimmar when it was constructed. She aided with healing wounded guards or soldiers, as well as midwifery. Her time here was uneventful, indeed almost basic. She met a male who would eventually come to be her mate and indeed fell into line as a city orc.
Her secure life began to crack though as her mate was slain in battle in Northrend. Leaving her with a child he didn't know she had. Still suffering her grief, she was left to raise a son. The boy seemed to take mostly after her, a shy boy who clung to her at all times.
The cracks completely shattered to pieces though as Orgrimmar became the centre of civil war. The siege caused great pain among many. She desperately tried to aid the fallen and injured, but there were too many. The city was becoming lost. In a desperate act, she tried to escape and save her son. But the cruelty of Garrosh's warriors was made reality as her son was taken from her, slain in lesson for her not heeding their words. Her anger and fury tore the orc apart, but gained her a memorable scar both physically and emotionally.
She stayed only long enough to help heal the wounded when the city was freed, finding out through word of mouth that a clan of orcs were making their way to the portal to lend aid to the horde.
She was once again lost, but her anger still burned fiercely. She followed the tribe across the seas to the Blasted lands where the Horde prepared to storm the portal. Not only did the Horde stand ready, the orc tribe did too. The Red Blades.
She would calm her soul, her guilt and fury by giving it her all in a final fight against the invaders and if she were to fall during, then at least she had tried to avenge her home, friends and most importantly, her son.
Again, as fate often does, it twisted the path ahead. She did not fall, the Red Blades spent time helping the Frostwolves where she learned of her mothers heritage and further into shamanistic ways. She found herself letting go of her wish to find a merciful death in vengeance. She found herself bonding with the tribe. She made friends and even found love again where she thought it wasn't possible.
It came the time that she was forced to face her fears in her naming ceremony. During her hunt she faced her grief, realising how much she wanted to be a part of this clan, to live. She was forced to face her fear of taming fire but managed to do so by finding herself facing a fire elemental. She returned victorious, returning with the core in her scorched hands, gaining the name Emberheart from the Tribe due to her caring nature, she gained yet more scars, this time being on her hands.
Magrahra enjoyed her time with the Orcs, she found herself growing as a new person. Slowly feeling free, as if reborn. She didn't recognise the orc from her past. She made friends and her love that she found with Kozgugore was a passionate one. However, passion can often burn and after a sad parting, Magrahra took her own path, realising that understanding needed to be gained.
She slipped away in the night, extremely inebriated and still burdened with her chains of grief, she left the tribe and remained parted with them for near a year.

During this time, she traveled. She spent time at the Throne of Elements before aiding the Horde in Shadowmoon Valley. Here she spent time with the rebels of the Shadowmoon clan, fascinated with their magics. All were called to Tanaan eventually, where she aided in the battles there. Finally, a way home was found. It was an immense experience for her, but she was pleased to be back in familiar territory.
She could not face going to Orgrimmar just yet, instead spending some time in Feralas before moving on to Thunderbluff.  Whispers eventually made it to her that the Red Blades had returned and were near by. She followed the rumours, confirming them... But she didn't return straight away, debating deeply on whether she should. Eventually she had no choice in the matter, being found by her old friend Grimtide.

Since returning, she's been very pleased to see everyone again, hearing a lot of news of how the Tribe has evolved and changed. She's still terribly awkward and tends to isolate herself a little, but she's determined to remain this time, hopefully wiser.

Things you may know about this character:
Can be awkward in social situations.
She can be quite naive.
While she has a reputation for smacking people with her staff, she has only done this a couple of times... although she did knock out Sadok one of the times.

Things you may not know about this character:
While she has hit only a couple(!) people with her staff, people may not know she has been trying to learn to fight with her staff, without the aid of the elements or spirits.
Although shy, she enjoys company and tries to work on reaching out to more of the orcs.
She's claustrophobic.
She has a fear of not being able to protect those around her, as most do, but this can often cloud her judgement.
She absolutely cannot stand carrots due to a traumatic experience!
