Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
Well, where to start. I started playing earthdawn/fading suns by the age of 11. I've played alot of PnP roleplaying games all my life. Started with wow at the age of 17. Tried it earlier tho!

Gekkor is an old shaman. He haven't been a vanguard soldier for a long time. He spent most his age as a hermit studying the elements and communicating with them. I wasn't before he heard the rumors of naxxramas first sighting in eastern plaugelands. He then grabbed his faithful mace from which he earned in the altracvalley. And has been fighting ever since.

He hopes that one day the elements will tell him it's time to put down the weapons and enjoy the peace, but this is not that time. With the threat of draenor, he prepares for the worst.

Hello there Grekkor, and apologies for the delay in answering your application!

Your application is a little on the short and basic side, but there's a decent framework there already. When starting with a new character, you don't necessarily have to have every 'i' dotted and every 't' crossed, but I would like you to further consider some details surrounding your character's backstory.

For example, his younger years and upbringing -- as an older orc, it may well be he has first-hand experience of the orcs' demonic corruption on Draenor, the formation of the Horde, the First and Second Wars upon Azeroth, etc. This may be particularly interesting for a shaman, as the spirits deserted the orcs for a period of time after they took up fel magicks. Thinking about other things like which of the Clans (if any) Grekkor belonged to would go a bit further towards fleshing out your character.

With that said, I'm still reasonably satisfied with your application, so long as you think about some of the above details -- since they do tend to come up in RP, particularly as your character introduces himself for the first time. So with that in mind, simply poke an officer in-game to grab your in-character interview, so we can get an opportunity to see Grekkor in action and give him a chance to introduce himself to our tribe of orcs!
