While argued that buffs can be replaced, a warrior nor a warlock can replace a priests healing. And their healing is special to the class. All healing classes have their own method and some are needed more in circumstances than others. Not having that available class diversity instantly poses a limitation to a groups dynamic efficiency.

While the raid / guild would ofcourse not be in the run for realm 1sts, there is no reason in future it couldnt be. A group's effectiveness is down to its management.
"Sir we're surrounded!"
"Good. We can attack in any direction!"

Had I still liked -playing- WoW I would have been up for ORB raiding. Even if not for a siste guild. Getting a dedicated group in guild with some support from the outside for me would feel better. Or just team up with the Tauren (bloodhoof) and that way get all classes we lack.

Had I been playing I would myself not be in a project that wasn't at the least on the harder end of causual. Everyone in it HAS to know tactics. They HAVE to have propper gear and flasks etc. Aka, maybe we'd be slow, and maybe we'd only raid once or twice a week. But when we did it we'd give it our A-game.

The biggest problem I see is not class synergies, not lacking this or that.
It's time.
Check how full our calendar often is. At times there are RP events every day of the week. More often than not our bigger events are on thursdays and sundays. I've never seen a raidguild that doesn't raid on at least one of those.
What day(s) would the raiding happen on, and what would happen if an "indepentent" event happened on that day. (with independent I mean organized by a reg member and not officer team). Would it be okay for three of the regular core raiders not to show up because they knew their characters would never miss the event?

And had it been a sisterguild, thus the people in it for the raiding and not for the rp maybe wouldn't see the calendar. How would they react when say, the regular main tank and a top DPS doesn't show for the raidnight. Because they choose to RP instead?
Would the RPers get penalized for doing their main thing instead of raiding?

Etc,etc,etc,etc,etc.
