(( I was just letting Naz knows I hadn't forgotten about her topics or anything. They weren't bad swear words at all, trust me... Sorry? ))

Morgeth

Nazkhur, my sister.

When you return, we will take the proper oaths and share blood, like any sisters would. It makes me damned proud to have you consider such a thing with myself. I have lived most of my life alone, but these recent months have given me a family to count on.

Concerning the tribe, I have had a little.. fit of disrespect, one might call it. Norviskrall had one of his usual nights of thinking me weak and unfit for both hunt and carrying a worg corpse, so he tried to take it from me. I kicked him in the balls. So I am oathbound now! Most likely due to the fact that I said he'd meet my fist later, but I suppose it was just somehow to demote me. The orc seemed all furious about my disrespect, and maybe he should be. I don't feel it, that proper respect, that I ought to. Not because he be elven born, but because he treats me like a stupid pup, and obviously thinks me weak.

Kozgugore tells me I will re-earn my rank, but I was never one for titles really. I guess it will come in due time, when I can taste that respect again. Now I be just tired of it all, especially of our dear thur'ruk. He keeps saying he thinks me a daughter, but I do not need a father. Never did.

Otherwise it be fine. I think it be time for the pup soon, but there's something else as well. I have not yet told Kozgugore, or anyone for that matter, but I think me fel-magics might be failing a bit. Not in the dangerous kind, but I have a harder time wielding some sorts of them at the moment. Fire I could always communicate well with, but the curses and such.. everything seems to be lesser nowdays, and I have no idea why.

I hope that you are well, having adventures of your own, that do not involve some elven mess of sorts. There's still alot of work for you to do here, so I still hope that you return soon. Bugor is well, from what I can tell, and eager to send you more soap, no doubt.

And the doll be a good, proper toy for my pup. It will teach it the names of the clans, and how we in the end be of the same hide, even though we might look a bit different at times. The necklace did not make me think you thought me weak (strange words those), but I'd wish for a better way to make you feel alive, than to grant you pain.

At the moment, there be some big thing about honouring the elders around Azeroth. I like it, while Kozgugore be grumbling a bit, as usual.

I hope for good health and strong fighting for you
And to see you around our campfires soon

Strength, honour and a good pounding!
            Morgeth Feralheart.
I want to be just like you. I figure all I need, is a lobotomy and some tights.

Nazkhur

((next part, yes I know its short and that only Death Knights can only use Death Gates but it works all the same :P ))

Passing through the dimensional gateway both Elf and Orc arrive in the imposing structure that is Acherus. The Death Knight Champions quickly appear around Elisnna. “You have not crossed over from the living….yet.” grumbles Siouxsie the Banshee as she rides up to the High Elf. Glancing over her shoulder, Elisnna sees Nazkhur standing over her. The Orcish Death Knight has her attention focused on Siouxsie. “This Elf be mine!” she snarls back, “Anyone challengin’ that will meet their grave again.”

The Champions return to their guard duty and Siouxsie spits onto the ground in front of the Half Elf before riding away. With a small sigh of relief she starts to turn her head to look up at the Orc but is stopped when Naz grabs the neckline of her mail shirt and starts to drag her. Knowing that she doesn’t want to be seen with an Elf, especially when having to help it to stay alive, the Death Knight drags Elisnna at speed towards the portal towards to upper floor of Acherus.

Teleported to the upper balcony, Elisnna witnesses the Death Knight honing their skills on target dummies as well as skeletons working without rest at the forges. It seemed clear that the Knights of the Ebon Blade had no other purpose in their unlife than to fight and slaughter. Before she could question she was being dragged again by Nazkhur. The Orc finally came to a halt and let go of Elisnna suddenly, making her hit the ground with her shoulder. With a curse in Thalassian she gets to her feet and rubs her bruised shoulder. Nazkhur is busy talking with a ghoul and seeming to bribe it with a larger sum of gold than she had seen before. The Elf gasps at the sight of so much gold and the Orc suddenly turn to her head. “What’s wrong with ye?” the Death Knight questions. “Oh, nothing. I was gasping about how high up we are.” She replies as she hurries to move her gaze over the Plaguelands. Naz snorts and returns to the ghoul, who nods before pocketing the gold and calling down a skeletal gryphon.

The sight of the undead beast from such a noble creature made the Elves skin crawl, but she had little choice of whether to ride it or not. The Death Knight mounts up the gryphon and looked at Elisnna, “If me wanted to drop ye from a great height me would have kicked ye over the balcony.” Nazkhur states coldly. Still somewhat detested and sickened by the transport the Half Elf climbs onto the gryphon and sits in front of Naz, clinging to its spine as the gryphon takes off and flies from Acherus and heads north over the Eastern Plaguelands.

As they fly, Elisnna looks over her shoulder at Naz, “Where are we going?” she asked even if she wonders if the Orc will be able to hear over the noise of the wind. “Where that fancy ass Hope told me to take ye to, Ruins of Silvermoon.” calls back the Orc. The journey over the Ghostlands and Eversong Woods goes smoothly but seems to take longer than normal. Nazkhur blames this on the extra weight of the Elf and looks towards the horizon as the spires of Silvermoon come into view as the sun starts to rise.
Better Red than Dead!

Nazkhur

((New part and I will get round to replying to Morgeths letter at some point.))

Swooping down over the ruins, the skeletal gryphon gracefully lands outside a small abandoned Elven house. As soon as they land Elisnna jumps from the gryphon’s spine and seems to be very grateful to be back on the ground and away from the undead beast. Nazkhur swings herself round in the saddle and slides to the ground. She barely touches the ground before the gryphon flaps what remains of its wings and begins to run away. The Orc quickly makes a grab for the reins but misses them and tumbles to the ground as the gryphon takes off.

“That rotten, grom-damn, bucket’ead, son of an ogre!” Naz curses as she gets back to her feet. Her anger is made worse by the slight snicker from the Half Elf. After dusting herself off the Orc turns to the abandoned house and looks it over. “Well it’s not much, but will do.” she comments before walking over and kicking the door open. The old wooden door swings open before falling off it hinges. “Comes with its own firewood.” Giggles Elisnna, but the Death Knight pays little attention as she walks inside, quickly followed by the Elf.

The house is nothing more and a circular room with one doorway and two windows. A few bits of broken furniture remain but nothing of any use other than for fuel. The Orc gathers some of the broken timber up and begins to build a fire in the middle of the room. Elisnna doesn’t enter much further than the doorway and watches the fire being built as she rubs her left arm with her hand, “Erm…about what happened in the forest last night, I’m sorry.” She mumbles. Nazkhur doesn’t answer at first and then turns her head slightly, “Don’t pretend ye are sorry, me know what ye holy doers are like. Me not want to get caught up in yer battles.” The answer has a cold, almost cruel tone to it that doesn’t do anything to help the Elf relax.

Taking a flint and tinder from the pouch on her belt, Nazkhur lights the fire before sitting down next to it and staring at the flames. Carefully Elisnna comes closer before sitting the opposite side of the fire. “Me can’t but wonder why me havin’ to save ye. What makes ye so special?” questions the Orc, her glowing blue eyes meeting those of Elisnna across the fire. The Half Elf shakes her head, “I just want to help those who suffer because of war, because of the endless power struggle between the Horde and Alliance.”

Such an idea only invokes a grunt from Nazkhur who returns to staring at the flames. Hours passes and almost no word is spoken between the two, but the uncomfortable silence is broken be the faint flapping and squawk of a bird that glides into the room and settles down on the Orc’s shoulder. The Death Knight removes her helm and drops it to the ground beside her as her thick black hair falls to her shoulders. As the bird squawks again, Naz removes the letter from the ring on its leg and unrolls it. Elisnna watches as her eyes scan across the parchment.

Nazkhur folds the letter and slips it behind her belt before jerking her shoulder and spending the bird away. “Good news I hope.” Says the Elf, trying to be polite and break the silence. “Some good, some bad, not that what happens in tha Horde matters to ye.” grumbles the Orc. Finally Elisnna gets tired of being insulted, “Just because I will not fight for the Horde and the Alliance think me a traitor does not mean I have no interest!” she snaps. “Ye have no loyalty but as passin’ interest.” chuckles Naz. The Half Elf pulls her legs up to her chest and wraps her arms around them in a shulking action. “I do have loyalty.” She mutters to herself, but not low enough that the Orc doesn’t hear her. “Loyalty to who?” questions Nazkhur and is met by a stare from the Elf. “The Holy Light.” She answers plainly. The Orc sighs, “Me will never understand ye lot ‘n’ yer light.” Elisnna smiles slightly, “Maybe that’s because you don’t understand me either.”

Over the couple of nights that followed Elisnna explained to Nazkhur about her past. How she is the illegitimate daughter of an Alterac noble, how she served in the Second War with the Alliance by treating the wounded under General Hath’s command. Naz knew what went on in Alterac during the war and was surprised that the Half Elf didn’t turn to banditry like the rest of the Humans from that nation after it was crushed by the Alliance when they uncovered they had supported the Horde. The Orc listened but learned nothing of any really importance, but was only slightly impressed when the Elf explained why she didn’t crusade for the Holy Light. “The Darkness can’t be destroyed. It’s a simple truth that the followers of the Light forget.” She explained to the Orc who was busy poking the fire with a stick at the time. Nazkhur was more glad that the Hope didn’t enter her mind anymore when she went in a trance, she could enjoy her rest and think about Orc’s she knows and knew.

((Slow down? I think I am, real life is getting in my way. Nazkhur takes out a length of parchment and glances at Elisnna as she sleeps before starting to write in her blood.))

Throm'ka Morgeth,

Me would like to write that I'm not caught up in some mess but it would be a lie. Me is stuck with some half-bred elfling who thinks tha Holy Light is best thing since slicin' gnomes. Still there has been much blood spilled 'n' even a few challenges but me have proved to meself 'n' to anyone else watchin' that me can protect even such pointless things as elflings.

It angers me to hear that ye lost yer title of Nag Ogar. Aye titles mean nothin' 'n' its what ye do that counts, but if Norviskrall will yap on 'bout ye been weak me would of done more than give him a swift kick. Maybe this is why Claws gets anger at him, me surprised she not kill him that night at Booty Bay.

Me not surprised that yer power to use yer magic is weakenin'. Not easy moving around such a weighty pup all day. Me hope that me can get back before the birth. Chieftain 'n' others might not be of any help, well maybe some of the she-orcs but the others only know bout getting pup in, never out.

Makes me heart glad that ye would be prepared to take a blood oath with me even if me heart no long beats. I hope to return soon, but me can't say yet, but when me do me would make good me promise 'n' take the oath.

The doll is well travelled. Make it on Draenor before First War 'n' added the Clan signs durin' the War. Me Blood-Sister Grelzg used to mock me cus I spent so much time makin' it. I Miss the days that I used to think that one day me would have me own pup. Best me can do now is help protect ye 'n' yers.

Me will keep poundin' the path to glory until me can be around the campfire again.

Blood, honour 'n' much poundin'

Sister Naz

((Well because of Real Life happenings by now even Claws will have caught up :P Here is the next part, its shorter than I'd hoped but I got distracted and couldn't get back in the mood to write.))

Nearly a week past as both Orc and Half Elf remained hidden in the ruins of Silvermoon. Only a few wretched Elves tried to make any form of trouble and Nazkhur was growing ever bored with the ramblings of Elisnna. She would talk for hours on her views of the Holy Light and how it had a divine will that could guide those who believed. These long and drawn out conversations weren’t as annoying as the news from the Tribe however. The Orc had felt rage flow through her when she had read the news that Morgeth had been returned to the place of Oathbound.

“How long must we stay here?” questioned Nazkhur to break her silence during one of the Elves lectures. Forced to stop in mid sentence she thought for a moment before answering. “I’m not sure, but I did have a dream a couple of nights ago.” “Nights ago?! Ye mean we ‘ave been sittin’ ‘ere when we could be else where?” grumbled the Death Knight. “Well I wasn’t sure it was a vision or just a dream.” Murmured Elisnna as she got to her feet and walked over to the doorway.

It was not long after dawn and the sun was just starting to rise over the walls of the cities ruins. The Half Elf looked out and even from this distance could still see Falconwing Square. The Blood Elves were busy as normal and Elisnna hated the idea that shuck a high born race could fall so far as to draw the Light from the strange Naaru creatures. Behind her, Nazkhur got to her feet and appeared behind the Elf. “Tell me of yer dream.” The Orc stated in an almost demanding tone. Elissna turned and tried to brush past the Death Knight but didn’t get far before the Orc had grabbed her by the shoulder and pinned her against the wall. “Tell me!” Nazkhur demanded again, this time with her face almost pressed against the Elves.

The Half Elf didn’t try and move, but simple frowned. “Are all Orcs so brutish?” Nazkhur snarled slightly and pressed her against the wall harder. Knowing that the Orc wasn’t about to let her go and if she didn’t answer her ribcage would likely get crushed, Elisnna finally spoke. “It was of someone I knew, a girl at Alterac.” The Death Knight suddenly released her grip on the Elf making her drop to the floor. “Me not want to know what ye lustin’ after.” said Naz as she towered over the Elf. Elisnna rubbed her chest over the area where the heavy metal gauntlet had been pressing before looking up at the Orc. “It wasn’t like that! Well it was, but that’s not the point!” Elisnna screamed at Naz, trying to seem angry but ending up more embarrassed. As the Half Elf struggled to her feet, the Death Knight stomped off across the room and slumped down next to the small fire. “Her father was good man in life, all the Nordbrock were. Fortecroise was executed as a traitor by the Alliance following the fall of Alterac. His view on the Holy Light was different and seen as dangerous.” continued the Elf as Naz stared at the fire.

“He believed that there was a fourth virtue, humility and that all should be humble before the Light.” explained Elisnna as the Orc placed another log on the fire. The Half Elf looked her companion over who now shifted her attention back to her “What’s this got ta do with me? Ye, yer friends ‘n’ yer Grom-damn ‘oly Light have nothin’ ta do with me or me Tribe.” The Death Knight got to her feet and stormed over to the far wall and grabbed her halberd that was leaning against it. As she turned, but couldn’t shake off the thought that entered her mind, the memories of her own humble beginnings and all she had once hoped for. Nazkhur was about to speak but the Half Elf beat her too it, “Your duty to me is done. I only mention Fortecroise to you because he fights for your Horde from beyond the grave.”

The Orc stepped closer to Elissna, “Yer mean he’s Forsaken?” she questioned. The Elf simply nodded which made the Death Knight sigh. “If you truly believe that everyone is equal you should seek him out.” remarked Elisnna. The Orc grunted at the idea, “At birth alone we should be equal, but yer actions in life should change how equal ye are.” she said with a grin appearing under her helm.

With that Nazkhur walked across the room and only stopped briefly at the doorway when Elisnna mumbled “Light bless you.” Free from the rambling of the Elf, the Orc wanted nothing more than to return to her Tribe and fore fill her promise and make her oath with Morgeth. As she walked through the wet grass her mind started to race. She had done her duty to Elisnna and proved she was worthily to protect Morgeth and her bloodline, but still the idea of making life equal seemed to stick in her mind. She had seen too often how some bucket headed Orcs had been given places of power for pure brute strength and how still peons slaved away under hard taskmasters.

Pausing outside the Shepherd’s Gate of Silvermoon she caught the scent of something familiar. As she looked over her shoulder she saw him, Deathowl, waiting patiently and with a large wolfish grin. Striding over she took the reins in her hands and mounted the beast. “We ride again.” Naz mumbled as Deathhowl let out his famed howl making a near by Blood Elf Guard have to cover his ears. With that the pair rode south through Eversong Woods and into the Ghostlands.

Nazkhur

((There have been a few changes to the plot, but I have managed to come up with an ending that will work. Enjoy and be prepared.))

After spending the night riding, Nazkhur and Deathowl arrived in the Tirisfal Glades. The Orc had never liked being in any of the lands marked by the blight, but the Glades were important for her. Not only was there a zeppelin that she could take to Orgrimmar, but also the town of Brill lay there. Brill had been the last place she had seen any of the Tribe as they fought back against the army of the Alliance. This might have been why she felt so drawn to ride into the town, or maybe something else was still using her as its pawn.

As the Death Knight rode up the road she could see that the damage that the town had suffered in the raid was nearly all repaired and many Forsaken were still hard at work, but one stood out from the others. In the middle of the hurried work was standing a single male undead, he was tall, bald and wearing an eye patch. At first Nazkhur paid little attention but the more she looked the more she felt the draw of something wanting her to go closer. With a pull on the reins Deathowl walked slowly forward as the Orcs eyes remained fixed on that one undead.

Coming to a stop outside Gallows End Tavern she could feel that she was being watched. As she climbed from her large grey wolf the man approached. “Greetings Fallen warrior.” he said and raised his right hand slightly as he leaned against his staff. For the moment the Death Knight said nothing and looked over the Forsaken again. If he was important he surely didn’t look it, he wore a ragged and tattered robe. It might have been white at one point but now it took on a grey colour and was splattered with mud and a few places. “Throm’ka.” answered Naz finally. “Me is lookin’ for a Fortecroise. Ye know any undead by that name?” The undead smiles a hideous grin and gestured the Orc to follow him into the Tavern.

“I know Elisnna would send you sooner or later.” He said as he led the Orc inside. The comment made the Death Knight pause for a moment. “How ye know that? Who are ye?” she questioned, much to the amusement of the Forsaken. “I am Fortecroise Nordbrock, priest and believer of the fourth virtue.” The undead took a seat and look up at the Orc. “I am sorry that you have been used by the Light so, but I know it doesn’t do so without it reasons. You come from humble beginnings and this is important, not for you but for many.” The Orc thought for the moment, but as hard as she tried she found it hard to understand what the undead meant. Fortecroise gestured her to come closer and with the confidence that she could kill the unarmed priest before he could strike Nazkhur came closer so her face was less than a hands length away. “The Peons.” he whispered at the Orc.

“The Peons?” hissed the Death Knight. “What ‘bout them?” The undead simple grinned. “Ye don’t mean?” she questioned as an idea jumped into her mind. Fortecroise nodded, “Yes, a revolt.” Nazkhur resisted the temptation to gasp and grasped the undead by the neck. “Me is no traitor. Me isn’t as stupid as ye think either. Ye make trouble for the Horde ‘n’ let tha Alliance attack us when we are lookin’ other way.” snarled the Orc before pushing the Forsaken away and making him fall backwards in his chair. Before he could answer Nazkhur got to her feet and left the Tavern.

Quickly striding over to Deathowl she climbed on him, “Lets ride!” she called out and the wolf charged away towards the Zeppelin Tower.
