Your make up is near on the same as the next one i will try but i will have 5 in duel wield.
Surprised you not put any into duel wield greg your off hand is not doing the damage it should be most of your damage if not all is coming from your main, so you are only doing half the damage you  could or it is taking you twice as long.
(My take on it any way might be wrong).

Slaugter from the shadows cant see that as a must have when you can get your enrgey
from other talents and I do not use back stab or ambush.
(Just my own little take on Rp I will not snnek behind others and fight hit them head on and look into there eyes  )
Hemo is my main attack so i spam it.
Honor among theifs yes was one i was thinking about.
Sap yes more than likey a wast of point there but had too use them some where for next tier.

Ah, didn't notice you went for the non dagger sub specc.
But why points in tricks of the trade? (unless you prefer to the 5min reduction on prep)
Also, I doubt you have to worry about aoe damage really. So imo you can put those 3 points somewhere else.
Honor amongst thieves is imo a good talent (tested it on the PTR) it happened a caster got away from me and i couldn't get back to the target and suddenly poof a combo point. *deadly throw* poof another combo point (kek) *deadly throw again!  That's why i liked it

I can not live with out prep to be honest only reason i go sub spec but it cost so much to get it screws you up for any other tree.
(Level 80 hopefully will be able to do mopre about it).
But yes the 5 min cool down is my reason behind that.

You reason behind H amongst t sounds good will look more into that one.

One thing i have noticed is shadow dance is not that great why would i want to walk up to some body who can see me and sap them unless it is for RP reasons, but as i say a try out.

I would like to see that killing spree in action / combat spec, might make others all attack you though

I tried combat on the test realms and imo it wasn't that great...Sinister strike eats energy and murder spree is just your normal hits. or the damage sucks, or it's doable. (Although that the small teleport thingy on it is sometimes handy if you are rooted/snared) I think that if you got pve gear combat will be better. But overall the combat tree is the worst one atm.

Shadow dance also makes it possible for you to use garrote and cheap shot remember? and garrote silences + a dot (handy against armor classes) and that extra stun (cheap shot) might be handy.

Missing some useful stuff I hope to get on the way to 80. Most definatly missing Cruelty and I will get Gag Order at some point,for the improved damage of shield slam.

Enjoying the changes so far, for once I can effectively kill things as a solo prot warrior wearing my tank gear and in def stance - I think the new glyphs really help in this respect!

Intresting read Greg.
Have just re-spec combat build for a few days.
One on one I can hold my own even against the cloth's and dru's, even pals if you get in with wound posion and cripple but in BG not to impressed get shut down and stuned to death.
Do like the killing spree though they can not get lock on you because they do not know where you going to apear next (Nore do you for that matter).
Just leaves me one more build to try the ass build.
