Finished Broken Shore, and all I can say is

what an absolute pile of horseshit. They've been building up for years Sylvanas turning rogue. Hell it was the whole plot of her chapters in War Crimes. I feel like they killed off Vol'jin just so Alliance players wouldn't be pissed that only their leader was killed. Her "good" turn here has come completely out of left field. And Vol'jin wasn't even given a proper run as Warchief. We saw him barely ever during WoD.

I can't disagree with you there. Promoting Sylvanas came waaaay out of nowhere from an in-game point of view. Hell, even Baine or Lor'themar would have been a more suitable choice considering they have the Horde's best interests at heart. Sylvanas has done nothing but follow her own agenda, plainly in front of everyone's noses. On what is her promotion based? On the fact that she was at the Broken Shore and was the last leader standing and calling for a retreat? I'm not expert on Vol'jin's mentality or personality, but even for him this came way out of nowhere. It's just as pants-on-head retarded as it was for Thrall to promote Garrosh, and it serves for only one purpose: To create overly obvious future drama from an OOC point of view by Blizzard.

 Well, part of Vol'jin making Sylvanas the Warchief (and probably the main reason) is because the Loa's gave him a vision and whispered a name to him, and that name/vision was of Sylvanas...

 That was nothing but a bad plotdevice to have an excuse for making Sylvanas Warchief over someone like Baine, who would be much more suitable.

A bit random true. Still, glory to the forsaken?. Yes Baine would have been the logical choice if vol'jin 'had' to die. If he really is dead, he has faked his death before. *makes spooky fingers* Darkspear never die and if they do they go out like a punk.

Lother-whats-his-face-mc eyepatchswitcher is in same boat as Sylvanas really only dealing with stuff once he had an personal interest in it

They burned his body. He's dead. The only good way they can pull this off is if it wasn't a Loa speaking to him at all but actually the Burning Legion, like they did appearing as Ner'zhul's wife to him.
